The first 7 minutes or so of this are really unsettling for some reason. Like, I'm actually getting a visceral anxiety reaction listening to this. I feel like this is something they'd make Patrick McGoohan listen to on the Prisoner. (After around 7:00 it becomes recognizable as minimalist music, and not a psychological experiment.)

+Eldritch I still feel like this is probably *terrible* for my headphones, though. All those tried-to-feed-the-speaker-a-Dirac-delta pops can't be good for them.

Interesting you say that. I went to a screening of "datamatics" by Ryoji Ikeda. First 20 minutes I thought it was torturous and then I started to see things in the screen. The next one hour or so, I was in absolute awe. When I came out, I actually thought I saw what the beginning of universe would look like.

wouldnt anti music have to be against all notions of music, which today could mean beyond sound entirely considering what is considered music and sound art these days. just a tought tho, i understand what you mean when you call this, and guys lke Merzbow, anti music.
