Hello everyone, here's the list of ingredients along with the steps to make homemade sudanese tea cookies (minain).
ingredients:
- one cup of sugar
- one cup of oil
- one cup of warm milk
- sesame seeds
- black sesame seeds
- spoonful of baking powder.
- pinch of salt
- 3 cups of flour.
steps to make the cookies:
1) add 3 cups of flower in a bowl
2) add the black sesame seeds
3) add regular sesame seeds,
4) add a spoonful of baking powder
5) add a pinch of salt
6) mix it all together
7) start mixing the dough with your hands to form a texture
8) add one cup of milk and continue mixing it with your hands to form dough
9) once it has a proper texture, shape it into a long oval shape and cut into pieces.
10) put it in the oven at 350 degrees, THEY BAKE VERY QUICKLY, so as soon as you see them getting darker, open broil and as soon as it has a golden they are ready to be devoured!
