plumers putty in a metal baking putty 1" thick to 1.5", deep baking tray screwed to a wooden face plate with hole slightly smaller than the target size you nead and a for couple of knotched out bits of spair wood for leg to stand it in and away you go works, opton 2 deep plastic storage box eg 50l or bigger with top that loxs on filled with 1 st layer plywood then 2nd layer old carpet then 3rd layer sheet metal then 4th (theses are a must if you dont want to end up shooting though the box eventualy) layer old carpet 5th layer onward loads of layers of foam packing or just loads of layers of old carpet, cut out of the top the size of target but a bit smaller than the target so when you put the top back in theres anougth to hold the target in place stand the plastic box out with good back stop behind it and away you go work well for us both of theses and quiet very quiet too

Hi Gary great content as always. I'm a disabled and can only shoot in my garden at 17 yards or 10 yards.so now your a bit damaged. Maybe you could do video on sub 20 yards shooting at card targets for accuracy and give a few tips and hints. I think I'm very good over these shorter ranges,around 9mm for 5 shots groups.but as i can't get out anywhere else to shoot. It would be nice to get a few tips to see if you can help us garden shooters.love all your videos they are wonderful,They make me feel part of airgun community. thanks rob.

Bracketing works if you can hold the rifle steady unfortunately for me shooting of sticks I’m not steady enough to bracket or use the head bob😢 so I have to rely on blur and the mark one eyeball

@@ShootingCountryTV it’s mainly for gauging range to rabbits through the Pard add on night vision. Trouble is can’t always discriminate between fully grown and not which gets tricky. It’s mainly for in the field and 3” fence rails on 9x mag are 3 mil dots at 25yd so use them regularly to estimate 25-50yd ranges
@DrSurfingTiger
@DrSurfingTiger Ай бұрын
25mm at 40 yards is NOT 0.5 mil-dot; my understanding is 1 mil-dot = 100mm at 100 meters
@garychillingworth
@garychillingworth Ай бұрын
Depends on your magnification. On my scope at 10mag, a 25mm at 40 yards is half a mill
