I still believe the name "alto adige" should be changed simply into "Sudtirolo". I always called it like this when I told my Italian friends where I'm from. Alto Adige instead has no good origin. Napoleon's troops used to call it like this and the fascists took it over. The translation process of names is whole other nasty chapter
