A big big Obrigado, thank thee very Much. I Herculano was born on the 7th November 1951, My father and mother along with three brothers and a sister all of us under the age of seven went to Goa for the Exposition. The souvenir of this was displayed on the walls for many years.

@@tushkoli no. The Inquisition came to Goa around 5 years after his death. And the Inquisition was used against those who were pretending to be Catholics. If you said that you were not a Catholic, you were not touched. Only of you pretended to be a Catholic, and someone had reason to doubt, were you brought before the Court of Inquisition. Read about this in more detail in this article. @@cecildsouza5445 Are you from Goa? If so please, check out the history of your own family - go back five to six generations? Travel around your state, and talk to people. You will find enough evidence in the local stories, which are passed from generations to generations. Ask the people who are Catholics now, about the history of their families. Go to the local churches, and ask them questions, talk to the padres, open all the old records, and also cross-check with what the Hindus have said and written, Check the East India Company records, because they were keeping track of the Portuguese activities, also try to get the French side, because they used to spy on the Portuguese, and you will get the picture. Goa had Arab and Jewish traders when the Portuguese arrived, maybe you can find some info. from their writings? Also one of the most affected community was the Syrian Christians, who were heavily persecuted by the Portuguese, they are still active in India, find out from them? If you are really interested in knowing the truth, the only way is doing research yourself? Arguing with me will not help.... This can be your life's goal, perhaps.

@@tushkoli I am Goan, and have also studied history. There is a difference between historical accounts and hearsay. Nobody can change what you want to believe. But if truth is what you want, like me, always be ready to be proven wrong. I have suggested that you send me some links to the sources which you speak about. We must get rid of these fake saints from India. We don't need them. We have better saints like Saint Tukaram, Saint Dnyaneshwar, Saint Eknath, Saint Ramdas, who are far superior to these foreign mercenaries. Also we must challenge the Christian faith - it is full of superstitions. No one can be born out of Virgin Mary and no one can get resurrected after death. Also no one dead or alive can take responsibility for your sins. Only you are responsible for your actions and you will get the results of it.
