S.H.Figuarts Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman was released in two batches, the first on the 18th of March and the second on the 24th of March as a Premium Bandai Web exclusive and retails for 8800 Yen or 80 USD.

It was Hasbro who made the Spider-Man 3 line, Toy Biz lost the Marvel licence in 2006. They reused a lot of Toy Biz molds though.

@@quintonbrooks7536 Toy Biz got acquired partially by Marvel to make the figures, but since Toy Biz essentially wasn't paying license fees as "part of Marvel," they went bankrupt. Because of this Marvel signed a licensing deal with Hasbro for 205 million for a five year contract. So now that Hasbro is paying for the license I assume yearly it means Marvel is always making money just from the licensing aside from merchandise sales

As of now yea. Its pretty damn good. Hoping mafex makes an even better one. Havent been able to put this figure down

I'm still SO glad we got this figure! The original Spider-Man movies are super iconic to me and are part of the reason Spidey is my favorite comic character. Amazing review on a spectacular looking figure :)

Tobey Spider-Man is my favourite. The suit from, Amazing Spider-Man with Garfield I much prefer to the sequel- it was unique to his version, then they went for the more comic accurate suit in the second film, and I thought it looked kind of goofy. This figure is a potential must for me. The crotch though looks odd, but that’s the only issue. Head sculpt, I’d just stick with masked look, the unmasked, it’s a fun novelty. The suit accuracy is brilliant with the details of the raised areas. I do think the colours look dulled down, but I still think looks really solid. Good in-depth review.

He definitely is an amazing figure, kinda wish he has a better waist rotation, favorite live action suit originally was the Amazing Spider man 1 suit the one with Gold lenses but after no way home its the new suit Tom wore.

I recommend adding shock oil to loosen up the joints. Put the figure in a zip lock bag put in hot water for a few minutes. Grab a needle, dip it in shock oil and dab it into the joints.

To me it looks like they rushed his figure in particular because they knew we'd want him first

Revoltech actually did their own take on Tobey Spiderman like 12 or so years ago, it's an interesting figure but I haven't seen anyone compare the SHF to it

No doubt this is a solid release, but $90 for one figure (especially since some newer releases are starting out around $35 nowadays) is just beyond obnoxious
