This is a copy-pasta for me, anyone is free to use it; In my video here, at the timestamp, I note the figure has tight joints. I go over a better explanation. To summarize, heat is not going to solve the issue. This is a TIGHT joint, not STUCK. Because of how the figure is assembled, however, using heat will be helpful to remove parts of the figure. You can safely disassemble the parts of the arm with enough heat (think of the arm sculpt like a sheathe over the actual joints you can loosen), then apply lubricant - preferably shock oil, though dish soap will do - until the join moves. If it doesn't move immediately, you may need to let it sit for ~24 hours. The funniest accessory they could've included with this guy would've been some power poles or power lines. Anno is obsessed with including gratuitous shots of power lines in everything he makes. Would've been an appropriate accessory for any one of the Shin Goji figures.

Honestly this would’ve been a home run if the face was painted better. Teeth especially. My eyes were also way off lol

I absolutely love the figure, although his right hand falls off easily and left hand/foot claws are a bit dirty with the paint job. If anyone is on the fence about it, I’d highly recommend picking him up still, looks phenomenal with the translucent parts. Half tempted to pick up poster colour 2019 to pair them up now.

I bought this as my first Shin Godzilla and I had mixed feeling. On one hand, the translucent body looks great but like many people, mine also had issues where the eyes look at different directions and the bad teeth paint. It's completely different than the promo shot they have on the side of the box. I'm also disappointed it came with no effect part, would have love the smoke and fire effect that came with the Awakening because technically, Shin used that before turning purple.

I was able to get this on eBay, new, for $128 after shipping. The clear red plastic really sells the mold. It helps this Godzilla look like his bloody muscle tissue is barely held together by his cancerous tumor-esqe skin (as it should). The stiff right shoulder seems to be an unfortunate trend with this though.

Finally I'll have my own SH Shin. Been waiting 6 years for an accurate base Shin to add to my collection and I'll finally get him. I can't wait.

10:06 Fun Fact On My Shins Right Arm The BallJoint Was EXTREMELY Stiff Tried To Loosen That Up With Dish Soap But That Shit Didn’t Work And Ended Up Snapping But Fortunately I Found A Spare BallJoint System That Was The SAME Size Of The One That Shin Came Didn’t Have A Drill So I Scooped It Out And It Was A Pain In The Ass

I was so happy to finally get a Shin figure and it took me all of 5 minutes to snap his right arm off because of the tightest ball joint I’ve seen in my life. Oh well. It sits in the socket without falling off I guess.

Thank you so much for talking about how tight the joints are on the arm. The biceps ball joints were frozen and I had to get a replacement after trying to fix it. So annoying for such an expensive figure

got this figure andi tried moving the left shoulder joint and it was so tight but i kept moving it until the peg just snapped in half and i really wasnt puting so much force into it

The only sh monsterarts shin Godzilla I got was the frozen one. I got it for 70 bucks because it was on sale. Ironically it has no articulation issues but I have it in a statue pose

I have this shin, his left arm articulation is so tight i can barely move it and one part of his tail is floppy

I truly love red transparent on S.H.MonsterArts Shin Godzilla 4th Form in Night Combat version because when this figure in dark area, entire his body is completely truly glowing, that's super nice touch from Tamashii Nation 😊. Great video, Steven 👍🤗.

13:34 what you're doing is just fine lol, while this may be what you seem to feel is 100th shin, this would or maybe my first because I'm trying to avoid the collector's late fees. 150$ is better than 200$-400$. I did laugh when you said there is no good shin toys cus I'm feeling that.

Would you say the method at 11:34 would work for the Mechagodzilla 2021 SHMA? In this case, it would be a VERY tight elbow joint.

You haven't lived until you lived in old McFarlane and Play Arts eras that were nothing but sticky joints made of the same weird mix of pom plastic and being stuck and easily terminally snapped.

Steven I need your help. So i got my shin but the arm system was very tight. I can't get a good angle to loosen the joints and one is stuck. I heated it up and still no luck. Is there any other way?
