So fun fact, Hedorah's UFO form didn't actually sport those vibrant patterns during the daytime oil refinery fight, those don't show up until the end when it absorbs more pollution and battles Godzilla atop Mt. Fuji.

I'm excited to see what other Showa Kaiju they will release in the future, they've made a lot of Heisei, MonsterVerse and a decent amount of Millennium, but not a lot of Showa.

I'm really excited for s potential Showa Gigan and Megalon. What I am most hoping for, however, is some Rebirth of Mothra Kaiju, namely Desghidorah and Dagarla Edit: I'm honestly surprised by the amount of articulation shoved into this thing. I was fully expecting Hedorah to be half way a statue because of his design and was gonna be completely fine with that. Bravo bandai, bravo!

Can't wait for mine to come in! I know many people don't care for Godzilla vs. Hedorah, but its become one of my favorite Showa films. It's just so weird! I do wish they could have made a "deluxe" set and a "standard" set. Maybe for $100 you get just the adult form, and for $200 you get all 3. With my shelf space I probably won't have room for the flying and I've read others have this same issue. Still excited, but my wallet isn't

Great review! Although I was expecting him to be a lot taller I'm still looking forward to getting this guy and doing stop motion with him. Here's hoping that more of the showa kaiju get more love

@@ikaiju-eu9wn Could be because of the eggs but Hedorah is a combination of many individual smong kaiju so it's hard to say in the original film

@@ShinGoji1987Official it was confirmed in the game godzilla defense force that showa hedorah is female and millennium hedorah is male,it was confirmed through text saying that the red appendage that was on millennium hedorah's arm was something only male hedorahs had

Fantastic 😊! S.H.MonsterArts finally manage to create Hedorah 😃. Because Hedorah's design is too complex, so his articulation looks like limited, however for me Hedorah's articulation is okay 👌😁. Hedorah still have a tons of articulation similar to previous Kaiju 😊. You finally got your most favorite Kaiju, Steven 😊. Happy nice day 😊.

Gotta be honest, this kit looks awesome but even if it weren’t I’d get it anyway to get more Showa SHMA’s. It’s sad that we don’t have Anguirus or gigan yet though.

@@Jesus.lives4ever yeah the revoltech line looks great (I have the Showa mothra!) but they’re discontinued and the aftermarket prices are waaaaay up there. I literally bought an x-plus 30cm anguirus for the same price I’ve seen Revoltech anguirus going for (~$250)

I just received this figure today. Im not even that big of a fan of hedorah or the movie but this looked too good to pass up. I've seen the movie once but will watch it some more and have a better appreciation for the film and hedorah himself.

The flying form has the stripped pattern at the final battle but during his appearance at the explosion of the refinery the prop doesn’t has any pattern

Thanks for the review STR. Can't wait to get Smoggy in hand and in some weird way I might be able to use the final form of Hedorah as his/it's landing or crawling form. But that's a real stretch.

I am excited to get this Showa Hedorah figure. I hope that S.H. MonsterArts line will consider making more of these Kaiju Showa era figures. I received mine on Tuesday and I ❤️ it. That they released Hedorah is still a surprise; it gives me hope that they may give us some of the other 70’s Showa kaiju.

Lol as soon as I order a figure a new one comes out, I finally ordered FW Gigan and godzilla and now that I am seeing this my brain is melting of so many emotions, I bet 2 Gcells that as soon as I get hedorah Monster X will be out and Keizer ghidorah will be announced

Dude it's ok, the releases for each of the figures usually last for a year before they sell out. You have time to save up and get the rest.

Not gonna lie, I wish they did the final wars design, since I believe its the superior look. That being said, this looks awesome and I'm definitely ordering it.

I am a big fan of hedorah and I will save up for this it looks amazing and I don’t mind loose hips or miss painting because I have been playing/displaying a worn down extremely chipped Wolverine for a long time I’m not complaining but wow I love this
