Good idea and customizable for other applications. Like a minor pantry in a kitchen. my kitchen is very small. But with this idea plus steal some space from between the wall studs could make this a little deeper. And the shadow line effect really makes a difference. 👍🏽

Very nice, but for security reasons I wouldn’t be leaving the car keys near the front door. Cars are very secure these days so thieves will come into your home looking for the keys.

I don't like the artwork. I's have done a sliding door or fixed cabinet one. Additionally, my first thought was, if you have that large length cabinet not only on the wall, but not being hit by the door when it opens...maybe your hallway isn't exactly "small."
