കഴിഞ്ഞ 14 വർഷമായി സിഡ്നിയിൽ താമസിക്കുന്നു . ഇവിടെ ഇന്നുവരെ പാമ്പിനെ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല.. ഇതിനിടയ്ക്ക് നാട്ടിൽ പോയപ്പോൾ കണ്ടു Lismore കഴിഞ്ഞ പല വർഷങ്ങളിലും രൂക്ഷമായ വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കം നേരിട്ട സ്ഥലം ആണ്..അതായിരിക്കും അവിടെ ഇതുപോലെ പാമ്പുകൾ.. എന്തായാലും കുറെ പേർക്ക് സന്തോഷവും ആശ്വാസവും ആയി..

അത്‌ ആ സ്ഥലത്തിന്റെ ആയിരുന്നെന്നു തോന്നുന്നു, വീട് മാറിട്ട് 2 മാസം ആയി പിന്നീട് ഇതു വരെ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല 😎

This is my 5th year in Melbourne Victoria. Snakes seen - Vatta poojyam. Australian animals and reptiles have strict boundaries. Birds you see in one place wont be found 25 kms far from it. Never understood why.

Snake bite is very common n Australia and it’s very scary. Death rates may be low but you can’t live in Australia peacefully. Thousands of snakes bites are reported in Australia, be safe

Australia has pretty tenacious venomous snakes esp. rural/inner regions. Like India, AU has strict laws to protect snakes. Snakes can't be killed in India as well. If a snake is seen at home and is amongst the top venomous ones like taipans, eastern brown, tiger etc.; call snake rescue and don't handle it self w/o experience. also welcome to Australia :)

That doesn’t mean that no snakes in Australia. You haven’t seen snakes but snakes are all over Australia and it gets in to homes, cars and everywhere. A huge number of Snake🐍 bite is reported , but the death rate is very low

India has higher snake fatality because of higher pop. density which results in far too many interactions. The venom potency is less for Indian snakes be it Elepids or Vipers compared to Australian ones. As also anti venom availability & accessibility is easier to India which helps reduce out fatalities. Also most Australians live in the cities where the snakes venture less than the outback or remoter areas. Be safe and have a great experience in Lismore :)
