The fact that this is just showing how desperately (and ironically) Kendall IS NOT like his father- (my interpretation is that he’s genuinely telling the truth. Well- His still messed up/warped truth) proves how great and subtle this show is. It even starts to make YOU question things. But he’s FAR from Logan (IMO). Who caused the mess that is his children and then unleashed them on the world and each other for his own sense of amusement/control- I mean “LOVE.” ❤ Kendall struggles, but unlike his dad, he’s actually capable of *healthy* empathy. He just has a lot of work to do to get there. In therapy. With all the shrinks his money can buy.

@@Anukii Kind of a reach from one scene. How can you recreate the dynamic that was created over decades? Conditional love matched with manipulative approval/disapproval is not shown here at all. He simply has a lot on his plate and does not appreciate that he is being criticized for his work by those who are not involved. What should he do? Step down because his company has been evil in the past? He can't just turn the business model on its head he still answers to people.

@@tao3878 Darling, we have witnessed seasons of this dichotomy and dynamic, down to even watching the kids themselves age. There will always be a lot on his plate just as it was for Logan. The dynamic had with Logan is recreated with his own children. We've watched this every season. Now we've seen his children even less this season.

Furthermore, we don’t need a Kendall redemption story because that’s not the point of the series. It’s about the corrupting nature of greed and power. Trying to redeem Kendall would be like Godfather 3 when they tried to redeem Michael.

Children, historically in America, have been very involved in politics whenever fascist ideologies start to appear. Look at the East LA and Prop 187walkouts. this whole episode seemed a liiittle off from the tone I'm used to, and this scene in particular seemed a bit extra on the nose with the way they comment on stuff that is usually perfectly executed subtext. maybe it's just me.

Just to be devil's advocate here (semi-literally), Rava isn't perfect. What did she think Ken was going to do? Change the entire fabric of the entire business that has been up and running for 60+ years now? And I wonder what kind of stuff ATN was saying when she met Ken and conceived his children? Was it all sunshine and lollypops then? Maybe she knew exactly what she was getting into but didn't care because she wanted to be married to someone rich? Quite a possibility.

I’m with Kendall, this was totally pointless to bring up amidst everything else going on. We don’t see her supporting him after losing his dad, or him at all for that matter. She just pops in to make him feel bad, which isn’t cool. Of course you’re gonna be mad. Plus it didn’t sound like the raven head kid did anything. His daughter probably just got triggered. And why couldn’t rava just deal with it? She has way more time on her hands than a CEO trying to close a huge deal after his dad passed

1:12 and onwards, Kendall's questions were valid and reasonable this leech (The ex wife) is so annoying and infuriating... Just answer the questions after all you are asking help from your ex husband... These types of women are the types men need to stay away from.

How are his questions reasonable? The girl was out with her friends like a normal teenager, was Rava supposed to be following her? Such weird questions to ask especially when you're an absent father who has always prioritized your drug addiction and your business before your children and your ex-wife is doing all the work in raising them. She's not perfect but she seems way healthier than Kendall, a man who surely is the type from which everyone should stay away.
