Roman didn't want Gerri's boyfriend to leave because he knew when he was left alone with her his expressions would give him away that he had to fire her. Logan was cruel as fuck. He could have got any one of his minions to fire Gerri but he picked the one person who he knew didn't want to do it. Reminds you of when he dragged Kendall to the dead waiter's house.

Logan fired her because he wanted Roman by his side and Gerri had something against him (the infamous pics) GERRI KNEW she was being fired because of Roman's behavior towards her. It frustrated her because she TOLD him that he should stop sending the items💀 And she ended up paying for it

Gerri 100% got fired due to Romulus sending her explicit pics. They even reminded us of that storyline in the “Previously on Succession” recap before this episode. Has to be relevant, and probably why their “friendship” is done for good.

Would be fitting if Gerri became CEO by the end of all this considering she was initially offered the job while Logan was in hospital and throughout the series everyone claims she could never do the job despite being the most consistently competent employee

Roman's feelings for Gerri were the closest thing one could call romantic love in his case. This was one of the few times I genuinely felt he was mortified to do his father's bidding. After this, he went outside and almost started crying, but then Kendall showed up. Also in the finale, when the kids are watching that video of their father at the dinner table, and then Gerri shows up in it, Roman's reaction to seeing her is so sad. I think even though they sadly stemmed from years of abuse and many psychological problems, the feelings were true.

I like how she sees through him almost immediately. When Rome is trying to be nice better know that something is off

Guys, I think I like Willa and Connor. If Connor was more like his dad, he would try to play Willa into a corner and force her to do what he wants, but he hasn't. He's not deceived her once. And neither has she deceived him. They both seem to be doing their best together. From Connor's perspective, this is the woman he loves, and the fact that she is a prostitute and he is her client is an emotional obstacle for him, but he doesn't take it out on her or anyone else, he just tries to move forward. His proposal is crap, about being a bulletproof candidate, but he does seem to actually love her. She's a terrible writer, evidenced by her last-minute revision of Moe's eulogy, and the play is a disaster, but does he lash out at her or anybody else? No. He is tender with her while he quietly goes bankrupt. They're both kind of misfits. Both a bit fucked. But they are a bit good for each other?? Like, they support each other's dreams, and have each others' backs? She helps him see his blind spots??? They are honest and forthcoming together??? I dunno guys...

Roman REALLY has changed and grown a lot. He went from the guy tearing up a million dollar check in front of a kid to not even thinking about the revenge and pleasure he'd get out of getting to fire Gerri. He's become a lot better than where he was and that's been his journey over the course of the show.

He did a similar thing to frank first season. Always thought he fired her for some other motive
