Getting undesirables thrown at me from men and women 😂 I am test riding one on Saturday for a couple of hours and although I love the idea of a sports bike again, I’m really not sure my back will pass the test… we will see!

@@Mancs1000r Understood. The R is a very good bike, does everything you want with no effort and without the yoga lesson. For me though it didn't have the oof factor (If there is such a thing as oof? Maybe that's what attracts the roadside knicker slinging?) I used to drool at the articles in Performance Bikes, stuff like the RC30 and OW01 got me determined to do my test and be a real power ranger. Ever since then I've loved the fast, pointy and loud. The lunacy of too much bike and not enough talent is what keeps me interested. I tried to be more sensible but just felt a bit meh for the year I owned it. I know the RR is too fast, won't ever break a sweat with me on it and makes no sense on our overcrowded, pothole littered, camera lined roads. But that's the point. I'm losing my hair, my looks, my marbles and my pants are a bit snug these days. Please don't take my penis extention too. (I need it.......)

@duncanmccombie152 🤣hahaha!! Exactly that, what’s the point in a bike that’s meant for track on these shitty roads, and a bike like that is asking for a speed fine… Having said that, it’s still absolutely mint and if the test ride goes well and the price is right…. I’ll be getting one 😁

Thankyou for the feedback 😊 I think the salesman was on form that day, he had me on 3.9% apr… I’m not sure if I’ll be able to ride a sports bike on longer rides, I have booked a test ride for next Saturday for a few hours, this should give me an idea of the comfort and if my back can handle it still. I rode the rr Baz had last year a couple of times but only for short rides. That ktm looks mint, all the reviews are hyping it up 😁

@@Mancs1000r Wow, 3.9!! Regards comfort, my brother said the RR is the most comfortable superbike he has owned. Sold it only because of his license 😅 It's always nerve wracking commiting to a big finance agreement especially if you are not 100%. I have had both at the same time for 12 months. RR is not for me on the road. Carbon spec RR. On the track, it was great. RR is great for the road.

@@Mancs1000r obviously take that into consideration then mate as a sports bike rider myself and the wrong end of my 40s a day on the seat on a sports bike isn’t the most comfortable so like i say you’re the one with the financial commitment to it and the one who has to endure the aches and pains so choose what suits you 🫶🏻

I am definitely going to book a test ride on one in the next couple of weeks.. maybe not next week as the weather is looking pretty shitty 😳

It’s got cruise control, you’ll be fine, I’ve had a couple of nakeds now (s1000r, gsxs 1000 ) now back on a busa and the sports style with weight over the front s bit fills you with confidence ( I’m no expert of course)
