Thanks for sharing, Jill! I was blessed to be raised without any religious upbringing so when I asked Jesus Christ to be my Lord and Saviour I had no prior reference, no particular church, just the NAS Bible. I receive the Holy Spirit and His still Small Voice guides me to this day! I was caught in the middle of a California wildfire all alone with no police and no fire - everyone had left! I called out to God and He clearly told me the way to drive thru the flames, which burned the clear coat off my 20+ yr old car! I do not lean on my own understanding cuz I figure if He made me, and the whole world, His plan is the best and I know His Joy is real!😄💕🙏✝️📖

Lots and lots of wise words in here. I especially like the "Just because it's hard doesn't mean you're not supposed to do it." Thanks for sharing your wisdom and always showing us real life.

I definitely listen to my intuition. In my case, the Holy Spirit.

Sorry you had such a bad religious experience in your young years. People will let us down (even if they don't mean to) but God never will.

I'm just wondering if all the opposition she faced in creating the charter school was coming from the public school "establishment" that really seems to resent those schools because they see them as competitors for funding. As such, all the controversy over charter schools isn't really about education but money. Who could have guessed?

Wow I’m going to get my sister to look up That Bible verse🤦‍♀️ I’ve been pushed by a few people lately to read the Bible since they think I’m probably going to hell because I won’t read it 🤣

@Jill Winger Hey, just wanted to say that you pointed to Jeremiah 17:9 and how some you knew would use it for whatever their reason/s.... The only thing is that there is a difference between the 'heart' and the 'gut'. I"d demonstrate that by asking you if the 'heart' or the 'gut' says that it loves someone? And do selfish desires come from the 'heart' or the 'gut' when it comes to reasoning and justification ? Now, I would say that even gut/intuition sorts of thinkng needs to be checked 'just to make sure' But again, wouldn't label that as being in line with Jer 17:9 talking of the 'heart' or emotion that is mostly 'self serving' even in very wrong ways For tose not haing seen the passage in Jeremiah 17:9- here it is (and look it up in whatever translation you tend to read etc) JEREMIAH 17:9 The heart is more treacherous than anything else and is desperate. Who can know it?

heart, gut, intuition, whatever you want to call it is wicked and deceptive, but after receiving the Holy Spirit who now lives in my spirit, he uses those things to guide me in the right direction, i give him the glory for that, not myself... and no i dont look at life as "no-one is going to save you" Jesus is always there for me, and he is someone, everything isnt easy but he is there.. Jill im sorry you had a bad experience with "religion" leave all that behind and receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, he will guide you into all the truth, its not your gut that is the safe place, its being in him and him in you, your "gut" will fail you.. ( there is a way that seems right to man ) you cannot trust in yourself, please understand, im not here to bash you, i like your vids even from way back... i just wanted to share the real truth with you..
