Funny anecdote - the driving gas (e.g. Argon) can dissolve in IPA - The Coriolis flowmeter will happily (and correctly) measure the mass flowrate of the dissolved gas too. However, the reference weigh-scales (after the meter) won't register the gas, as it effervesces out of the dosed liquid, at ambient pressure. The weigh scales read a few tenths of a percent lower mass-reading than the totalizer, on account of the lost mass of the gas. A lot of head-scratching ensues until someone notices the champagne-bubbles ;)
