Hello Family, I am from Detroit and graduated from Highland Park. I have taught public school in Tennessee (all Title I schools) for nearly twenty years. This year I decided to leave the school system. With all the stress from administration, the outrageous classroom behaviors, and the unrealistic expectations put upon teachers, I tearfully walked away. Thankfully, I have been blessed to teach adult education. To be honest, my concern was not the inappropriate behaviors as much as the system that prevents teachers from actually teaching the kids they love. I will miss being there for my babies; however, I chose to put on my oxygen mask first. Thank you for loving the kids, Mr. Thomas!

I really appreciated this episode. I work with high school students currently and they are beyond rude and have no respect. I've had to really lean into God to carry me through this season because it can really be disappointing. Thank you for the solid solutions and the dialogue in this.

My one sentence away like how they said was hearing E say “first time speaking in Chicago and my grandmother not going to be there”. What that did to me as a soccer player from Palmdale CA, going to finish my degree at a school in Johnstown New York and playing soccer for the team, added more to the fires that has been burning. Benn watching for years. Seeing what you've done in the states have helped me think outside the box in South Africa Cape town. I love the the different platforms apoc. I wouldn't agree less but a times we are influenced based on result of what will see and experience, failure at first try doesn't mean it is over but unfortunately people seems to back off when they have experiences some obstacle or failure along the way

Jamal is insulated and cocooned in his palace with all his money and success and new found fame, he cant see past his own reality. Faith is good and all but bruh is so outta touch. Chicago isn’t called Chiraq for no reason. Dude really was being transparent by saying I just want to see 21. Just like when his son was in the barbershop asking people if they had basketball and tennis courts in their house. I mean, it sounds cute and all, but at the end of the day, if you can’t relate to the people you claim you’re trying to help cause you from they same block, yet clearly you can’t relate, its all just materialistic nonsense that you can’t take with you. “Never seen a hearse towing a Uhaul to a graveyard”.
