I follow Beach Bomber, too. It looks like the Fishing KZfaqrs in Galveston know each other. I have never seen the "slide" delivery. Interesting concept!

Pier fishing is a lot of fun. I used to almost live on them. Those guys at the corners of the t-heads are some good fishermen! It's cool you are experienced that. Don't worry about the skunks! The skunks will end soon and it will break wide open when it does. People enjoy your videos regardless because they see you having a blast everytime! Keep up the good work!

Mark you’ve caught up to my skunking total this fall here in VT. Last 3 outings...a local pond the state manages as a brook trout pond, the outlet pool behind a flood control dam and a 4 hour float in my Outback down the Connecticut River has resulted in exactly 1 - 5” fall fish. It happens. I enjoy the honesty of your videos.

We are going to San Luis pass on the state park side Friday night, gonna sleep when the bite turns off and hit the surf Saturday morning or roll to Freeport jetty. Hope you have better luck! Rah!

AWesome video Mark I do not feel sorry for you your in the learning stages of pier fishing. You can catch the smaller baits and the same applies in using them to catch MONSTER specks towards the beginning part of that pier where they roam the first few sand bars at night

I see you met the Beach Bomber aka Carlos.. He has lots of great vids. Now you see how I fish with the big baits, but I fish from the beach and wade out to cast. If you ever want to try catching big bull reds with us @ the beach near SLP let me know. We caught 2 more lastnight. I know you dont like getting wet or getting messy but you can wear waders. As for fishing with cut bait... No way around not getting your hands slimy. I sent photos of our bull red catches to your facebook page.

It’s actually pretty cool to see someone I know can fish, have an off night. The two pole rig was pretty sick but I wonder why you guys didn’t just hook and heave the bait fish live? Maybe on a fish finder rig or Carolina rig? Lately I’ve been tossing plastics in this one particular estuary and keep getting hard nibbles but no hard hook sets so I feel the frustration. Tight lines and Semper Fi.

Ran the slide rig (2 lines) bc I thought I saw a small tarpon roll, and had been hearing reports of them being seen a couple times that week along the beach front. That rig keeps the bait in the upper part of the water column.

I love Beach Bombers slogan = "Anti-Social Fishing Club". Beach Bomber uses that pier all the time for the bull reds and spec's, he'll fish until the sun will rise.
