@@beckjohn2309 No, we can't say which is oldest. As Shri Ram said that Tamil is sister of Sanskrit. This puts both language on equal ground.

By grandmother if you are referring to it being the oldest then that is debatable because Tamil also is as old as Samaskrutam (Sanskrit). It is not conclusively proved that either of the language is the oldest. But yes Samaskrutam seems to be the most divine of all languages.
