Thank you for this video. I was able to get the motor installed quickly, in about the same time as you did in the video. I bought the fan online which cost me about 66% less than the national car parts store down the road.

😮 I'm doing this on my 2015 Nissan Rogue tomorrow morning. I sure hope it goes as smoothly as you made it look. LOL this is not the first time I've taken on an unfamiliar job so I'm ready for all challenges. But watching this video sure did ease my mind on how it will go. Thank you for posting this video

It is really not that bad , I mentioned in the video the cabin filter. This is the time you will want to replace it , with the blower motor out You have to fold the filter slightly to install it and reaching in where the blower fan goes helps to make sure it is straightened out. Best of luck on yours and I thank you for the feedback.

Did the video coincide with your 2018 Rogue? Just wondering if they may be some differences between the Rogue in the video and a 2018.

Honest question, will it not fit through the glove box opening without removing the rest of the dash?

would this be the same for replacing the blower motor resistor?

Update: I managed to get a pair of oil filter pliers in there to turn the motor clockwise. I was not able to use the oil filter pliars the way they were designed to use. I had to stick both ends of the wrench inside those fins and use it as leverage to turn from both sides. I was able to get the new motor in without any trouble. When I tried spinning the fan it didn't appear to make any noises but when I put the new motor in and tested it out, it worked. Everything is back together now with no damage. Although I have two screws that I missed somewhere. Job complete.

Excellent video, ac control panel didn't come off as easy as the video but other than that video worked great with 2018 Rogue S . I checked the blower motor after I removed it and it was good. So, do you have a video for replacing the blower resistor?
@s33therfanАй бұрын
I have not had to tackle the resistor yet , wish I could be more help.

How easily were you able to rotate the blower motor once you got the plug and screw out? Mine will not budge!

Update: As noted below, I am attempting to replace mine this morning. I'm at the point where I have complete access to the blower motor and I have removed the plug and the screw but I have completely failed in being able to turn the motor one direction or the other. It looks like I need to turn it clockwise to remove it, but it won't budge! I have the replacement motor, and I see no other fasteners other than the one screw.
@s33therfan2 ай бұрын
Yes , it needs to rotate clockwise. It does not need to turn much and you will feel it click. Mine turned easily but the space is limited and you might have to try and get a better grip somehow. On another note if you have made this far , you are doing great.
