I have a silver 1986 Saab Convertible 5 speed with 7700 miles only 300 made I believe, love my Saab!

At 2:58, the red gas can on the floor of the Sonett I was a factory 96 accessory. It was designed to fit next to the spare beneath the trunk floor. I think it held about 5 liters of hte oil/gas mix. Now days we'd say it was to reduce "range anxiety". There was a later round version to fit inside the spare in a 99.

Hey, thanks for pointing my car out! My 2 seconds of fame, LOL! I had quite a search finding an XWD! Missed out on a few 6 speed manuals, so settled for a 6 speed automatic. I really like how it changes gears! have been told by a couple of people that it is actually rare. Didn’t know that. I just got my Haldex service kit, and 2 more wheel bearings for the front. Kind of tired today from running around, so might put the bearings on Sunday. It was great meeting you at SOC 2021! Where is it next year? Keep Saabing!

Jacob, to answer your query, my Airflow is Malachite Green (205g). It's a 1988 Factory Airflow (came from factory with the Airflow kit).

Dude these are amazing. My Saab is an '01 9-5 manual 5 speed in silver. I got it for 5k and completely remodeled it. The aero engine is in it and I've been over 100 mph, in a 20 year old car!

it's not sadness, they're Saabs of joy. I often wonder how different my life would be if I buckled down and bought a 2012 9-3 Aero Sportcombi 6M. I don't really care that it was an over-engineered GM product. It still oozed Euro goodness. Just wish the recent Tour-X carried the same Saab-essence and came with a manual transmission.
