so far, this part of this concert was the best moment of my life. i will never forget the moment he said "are you ready for metal crue?!" at that i lost my shit and people thought i went insane... right there in the mosh pit.

I have the DVD of this concert. My first Sabaton DVD and I listen to it on the way to work and home almost everyday. Opening with Ghost Division and closing with Metal Crue is just the best choice they could've done.

It was an amazing show , the crowd was wild, the music loud and the ground muddy. What the hell else could you want? It was a very special moment for me standing in that crowd and rocking into the last night of the festival.

Peter Schwarz I didn't think that sabaton was loud.. Their sound was horrible in the beginning and mediorce after several songs. Cradle of Filth was loud..

Yeah Ghost Division was a shame, i´ll admit that.. i first thought it was a joke from Sabaton. But i have heard far worse while waiting for sabaton.. Wich reminds me... Who the fuck was playing on tehe other stage till Sabaton starrted? Now that was a disgrace to the speakers if i ever heard one. (The soundmanagment, not the music itself)

Peter Schwarz It was Bloodbath. I was standing in front of the sound tent and from there the sound was insane. It's just contrasting - death metal and very heavy at that. I think people waiting for Sabaton were quite taken aback by it.

This is a band truly in its prime! However there's no way to convince me that Joakim's not high on something. To be jumping and kicking and moving around so much in the hot stage lights AND be able to sing at full force... probably high on adrenaline honestly.

I think it's a shame that this band got the largest crowd at Wacken 2015, larger as Judas Priest. The music is barely metal at all due to the annoying keyboard, which is even for a live show playback. If Sabaton and Powerwolf are the new standard for present power metal I'll keep listening the early Helloween, Gamma Ray and Iron Savior albums for the next twenty years.

Roland Deschain People like you who can't figure out that there a multiple genres within Metal annoys me. Sure it's not the type of metal you like, but I can guarantee you Sabaton is a large part of metal, and specially Wacken. That they got a larger crowd than Judas Priest has to say something, doesn't it? I love Sabaton, Judas Priest, Gamma Ray, Helloween and a shit tonne more bands. I respect others opinions even if I like a band or not. I don't like death metal, but a larger crowd does. I don't go an whine on KZfaq about it.

Sabaton is Schlager Metal. Volksmusik. Not sure how to translate this. Undereducated drunk people in their 50s listen to Schlagermusik in Germany. And Sabaton sounds very similar.
