IMO this song was not a song that desperately needed extending, it was perfect already, Sabaton are usually good at putting an ample number of chorus repetitions at the end of the song, except for in the name of God I feel like ends a bit abruptly, only 1.5 choruses at the end. I hear a few songs with only one iteration of the chorus at the end , and they're usually the ones I extend, because often it sounds wrong and im expecting more to come or for the moment to be dragged out longer. Some make it really difficult to extend without sounding off like it has a weird artefact or drum change at the end of the chorus that doesn't sound right in the middle of two choruses. often you have to extract vocals and instruments separately and get inventive, use other sections of the song or spare instrument recordings. God no hate but the transition from the guitar the next verse. Its just not right. This song isnt for extending. They had it perfect. This feels like a downgrade.
