Swedish heavy metal band, SABATON, and over 120 museums around the world have joined hands for the most anticipated museum event of the year - the global premiere of "The War To End All Wars - The Movie", which just kicked off. The Power Metal giants, who have recently headlined Wacken Open Air and Graspop Metal Meeting, continue to shape the world of Metal as one of the biggest bands in the genre!
I sat down with Bass Player and Manager Pär Sundström to discuss the movie, the band's journey, and so much more!

The movie was a masterpiece! I've just seen it at a Military Museum in southern Sweden. I had a blast!! 🤘

Always so awesome to listen to Pär , and great interview questions . It's especially interesting to hear his take on what causes burnout, ie no feedback. I hadn't thought of it that way, but he]s right. Looking forward to seeing the film this weekend at a little museum in the country. Many Thanks for offering this movie to museums! ⭐🌲🌟

@@BelgianJasper The movie is a magnificent achievement, yes, a masterpiece✨✨✨✨✨. It was great to watch this with other Sabaton fans, or people new to Sabaton, who were so impressed! There has never been a film like this one, and Sabaton, besides making their mark in heavy metal, is making their mark in film (of course adding to their incredible Christmas Truce and other videos). Now, I want the DVD!.

Swedish organization 😉 Jasper, i didn't realize on the sneak preview of this interview that your voice was not as strong as usual ; cuddos for being able to manage this whole interview even while sick (as I work with my voice too, I can picture how you were feeling). Dang the geopolitical context made things very difficult for the album and the movie, but fortunately it's a happy ending ! There's a museum 200km far from home that broadcats this movie, i should visit it😀 Love Pär's opinion about the burnout which is caused by the absence of feedback, very inspiring. Guys are now in a very positive flow of energy, maybe the secret of being successful is doing most of work by oneself and loving what one does ! I loved how well chosen your questions are, Jasper, as always ! And loved this interview too, obviously🤘🤘

Thanks for the thoughtful comments! I know you had to wait a long time on a Sabaton interview in this channel, thanks for sticking around 👊😉 and yes... Definitely wasn't a 100% while interviewing Pär (and I did 5 interviews that day 😅)

@@BelgianJasper pfeww, 5 interviews with suffering vocal cords, that's a lot ! Fortunately for this one, Pär talks a lot so you 'just' have to drop the question and he speaks for the next 5 minutes😉 Yes this one was a long awaited one ; if by any chance you manage to interview Till and ask about the n*zi salute of the gymnast... Don't understand why social media hasn't got crazy yet since the release of his last song (Sport frei)🤔

@@karinekmk9293 re: the Till single, do you mean the photo that is visible? The video is (partly) recorded in the Berlin Olympic stadium (where the infamous event in '36 took place) and now the stadium of Hertha Berlin Football Club. I think the whole song is about the exploitation of sport/athletes and would look at it from that angle? Interesting question to raise for sure! Till's heart "schlägt es links" I think

@@BelgianJasper no, I mean the gymnast at 2'55 or something like that. Ok it makes completely sense if those are extracts from an event in 1936, but it's alwayssubject of controversy (what Till absolutely loves) ! Ja, normalerweise sein Herz schlägt links, links, links two drei vier links ! 😎
