The body, believed to be that of six-year-old Junior Mabandla, has been found in a grave near Pienaar, Mpumalanga.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested following the grim discovery Wednesday night.
The little boy was last seen by his family when he was apparently on his way to buy sweets at a nearby shop.
SABC News Reporter Tumelo Machogo joins us from Pienaar in Mpumalanga.

To send a reporter like this guy in such a sensitive story is an injustice.🤦🏽‍♀️ I understand that everyone wants to be employed but come on SABC if a person is struggling to speak fluently and clearly just one sentence why make that person a reporter? This was painful to watch and listen to. This guy is stuttering over every word from start to finish, he took the longest time repeating himself and explaining something we would actually hear more clearly from the interviewees. This is an embarrassing thing, we can't keep having such reporters who obviously need a lot of speech training just to form a simple sentence. And yes, in future send someone who speaks the language of the people being interviewed so it is easier for everyone, you can always add subtitles to the footage.

Tumelo needs training. He speaks all over the place and repeats himself over and over again. Tis clip really didn't need to be this long. You also could have gotten someone to translate his questions. Terrible quality reporting. May the deceased rest in peace and may the guilty face the full might of the law.
