The moveset etc. also really fits Sableye and his character. Literally feels like a Ghost Type who trolls you

They’re starting to really push the boundaries of what a Pokémon is capable of in this game. Mew, Dodrio, Scyther/Scizor, Clefable, Zoroark, Sableye all have such unique abilities and different ways to play!! So refreshing

Support can be pokemon that provide cc and lots of disruption. Kinda like an anti carry where your job is to prevent their carry from being effective. Can also create zones of control with the fake aeos energy.

So we went from a Pokémon that can spit up its scoring into two/three pieces to a Pokémon that can just steal your points while staying invisible. I hope we continue to see more creative concepts for Pokémon like this as we move forward.

Ahhh I never thought this day would come! Since he was an npc in the shop I thought all chances of him being a playable character were out the window 😭😭

I think at 7:01 where Sabyleye is Invisible when scoring is affected by the alert area on its invisible. If you can see when the Hoopa enters it's line of sight's when it turns visible, but when there was no other pokemon, it was scoring invisible

I loved how tiny he is and how good they have made this Mon's scoring animation. Seems the best animation for a Pokemon they have ever created.

Supporters aren't just units that can help their allies. Supporters also support by debuffing, weakening, or tricking the enemy as well. Like a saboteur or demolitions expert!

Support is my favorite role to play, Sableye is very cool, I could not be more stoked for it to release

I’d LOVE to see a tech based Pokémon come in like Genesect that can use its Unite to disarm one of the enemy goals to counter something like Regieleki and Rayquaza. These two new mons seem so dope. I’m so juiced for Sableye!!!

Spragels not sure if you know this- Im pretty sure sableyes unite move actually forces a recall as long as they don’t get hit. I can see some awesome plays where you can stun in a team fight and force some people back, and pick of those that didn’t fall back.

Finally a support that does more than heal

Okay so Sableyes Unite Move just slows if it hits the opponent from behind, but if it it hits them while they're looking at Sableye, and they're not attacked during the process, they are literally forced to base. They can't do anything. They are just sent back to their base. But even without that the damage is pretty good as a secure. Especially for a support. Also quick mention. The Fake Aeos Energy acts like wards in other Mobas so you drop some by an objective and as long as thry aren't picked up, you can see an objectives health bar from anywhere on the map. Seriously this Pokémon has got to be one of the coolest ever. It's a insta-buy for me.

The unite move is kind of insane combined with the invis passive. If the beam hits opponents while facing you they're locked into the back to base animation (You can see it at 9:55) like a reverse Hoopa, is awesome.

its so cute that when it scores, it looks left and right to see if anyones looking and just dunks.

Edit. 7:23 i just saw that after ending stealth Ludicolo was spooked! He run away from Sableye! He will score better than Dodrio :D steal energy with thief/knock off, go invisible and score. It will be secret hero of so much games. Hope he will be tanky like Mr. Mime/Wiggly. Probobly lowish damage output, as support. Damn, I want to use so much items. Stacking, score shield, float stone, b.barrier.

Sableye is the only support pokemon that I actually want to play.

similarly to how Gengar's Dream Eater is a combo move of *_Hypnosis+ Dream Eater_* , I feel that Sableye's *_Knock Off_* is a combo move of *_Knock Off + Fling_* , as Sableye in the animation first smacks the enemy and thus gets rid of the enemy item, and than *_flings it away onto the ground in the form of those fake-orbs_* - this would be very similar to the way Fling functions as the user throws an item its holding at the enemy, than deals damage and applies varying effects to them

I woke up to the leaks and popped off and did a little happy dance when I learned Sableye was getting added this makes me happy in 2 ways 1: I love Sableye it's an adorable little gem munching gremlin and 2: it means other NPC pokémon that appear alongside the Aeos Island characters have the potential to be added and that makes me excited for Metagross and I'm curious to see how Chatot could work maybe a Buff and Debuff focused Supporter? and then we also have Electivire to consider that'd be awesome to see too it'd probably be an Allrounder if I were to take a guess also my guess for Metagross' role is either Allrounder or Defender

Teemo got officially added to unite to introduce even more inoccent players to the horror of this monster. It really becomes League more and more with everyday - minus the skin quality

As a longtime Sableye fan both jn VGC and it’s animated appearances in the show, I’ll say that they truly captured the feel and concept of the Pokémon perfectly and adapted it to Unite. From the scoring and movement animations and the kit choices, just👌🏽👌🏽

I think you were, but hopefully, you were saying design in terms of the game design, like, moves and animations they give these pokemon, and don't actually believe they're creating the actual Pokemon too. These are all Pokemon that exist in the games already, and that includes all the wild Pokemon too. This includes stuff like Ray-qway-za* Who's been around since about 2005. They're missing stages on a lot of them too. Lucario has a pre-evolution, so does Chansey, Pikachu, Snorlax, Marill, and Jigglypuff. Oh, and Clefairy too. Then they're missing Pikachu's evolution Raichu.There's Slowking for Slowpoke too, but that's an alternate evo instead of Slowbro, so it makes sense. But, I do agree that the game design for these newer releases they've been adding have been really fun and interesting.

The unite move send any Pokémon back to its base if u use it in the pokemons face the only way to not get sent back to your base is to be hit by anything also if u use his unite move on the back of a pokemons back then it does damage and stuns

The unite does damage,stuns,and forces the enemy/enemies that were hit to go back to their base if you don’t attack them.instead of attacking the enemy after the unite move it’s better to not do anything and let them get forced back to base
