Hello guys, today we are going to be checking out the newest addition to the Sabneo lineup. This is the Sabneo V8 Warrior Neopixel Lightsaber.
Straight off of the bat this thing is absolutely amazing and in my eyes is so worth the extra cost from the V7. If you’re on a budget though the V7 is brilliant but if you have a little extra to spend i would suggest going for the V8.
Being neopixel the LEDS are in the blade which helps create some amazing lighting effects ranging from: Rainbow mode, flashing, start up effects, ghost mode, stab effects etc. The blade is also brighter all the way to the tip due to the LEDS being in the blade rather than the hilt.
The new design on the hilt is great and it comes in 4 colours, Black, Silver, Gold & Metal Grey. Also there’s a redesign of the control buttons to help change through all the functions and lighting effects easier.
The new 3-dimensional motion sensor helps produce the laser sounds when you move the saber and allows it to be controlled by gestures! This is such an amazing feature!
To charge the saber you now need to unscrew the hilt to get to the usb C port, this isn’t too much of a pain but it would have been nice not to have to do this every time it needs to be charged. It’s only a really small inconvenience though.
To attach the blade to the hilt you have to use the included grub screws and tighten them into the blade. I did find that even with both in the blade felt like it had a slight wobble but i put a couple of layers of tape around the bottom of the blade and it’s now very snug!
Even though there are a couple of small things i would change i would highly recommend this saber to anyone in the market for one. Like i said any of the lightsabers that Sabneo have to offer are great so no matter which one you pick you’ll have a great time with it!
