i know right sometimes i get a little overwhelmed when they start talking and screaming over one another and i’m not even there i’m just watching the video (which is why i definitely don’t want/need kids yet) but they handle it so well and are so patient and it’s so great and sweet to watch

Luckily she didn’t chuck him because she wouldn’t have the strength to do it to do that and Jonathan was right there so he would have told her to stop like he did

Candyapple🍬🍎 🙄. I didn’t mean literally but you could see he was very uncomfortable and she wasn’t doing it on purpose either. Nevertheless she had her armed presses up against his throat. Take a look at his expression again.

She started out hugging him, but as Jonathan started rocking more vigorously she grabbed Andrea tighter because she was anxious about falling backwards and didn’t realize that she was starting to hurt him. The clip quickly ended so I have a good feeling that Andrea or both of them started crying or fussing over it. Jonathan tends to go overboard at times and then wonders why the children act up and test him a lot more than they do Anna. It’s like the hitting and biting, if you notice after she does it she waits for the reaction and depending on what he does she does it again. Hopefully she doesn’t do it during school time because it will be a problem. Generally if the child does certain behaviors at home they don’t necessarily do the same at school. I lost track of how many parents are scared to ask how their child is behaving at school or are shocked when I sent home praise notes for good behavior or helping out in the classroom. Children can be quite surprising with how they behave at school vs home and vise versa . I had one group of first graders who behaved for me in the classroom and outside on the playground and field trips. However they were horrible when they went to Art, computer, library, PE, Guidance or if they had a substitute teacher either in my place or one of the other classes. They were my last group of first grade students because I had to have emergency spinal surgery that kept me out for the rest of the school year. They came back after Easter to a substitute who they knew and sadly their behavior quickly turned out of control. I had never had a student put in in school suspension for bad behavior or fighting. Two of the boys ended up in it multiple times. All children want routines, boundaries, rules and limits in how you expect them to behave, what acceptable and what isn’t. If you let them help make the rules and consequences and explain why they have to do certain things or not do them they are much more likely to behave. Treat each child as an individual and don’t prejudge them based on their family, siblings or whatever others tell you because when you respect them they will respect you even more. I have used that method for over 20+ years and it makes a huge difference. I have had students make a full 360 degree change in how they behave and act during the day at school. Even a child who way too many kept warning me about. I refuse to listen to what others have judged the child for because they are not their siblings and they deserve a chance to show others that they aren’t like whatever people have said. The first day of school they had PE and the child got in trouble and that teacher made the comment that she was just like her brother and made her sit out of the game. She was in tears because of how she had been treated and upset because she hadn’t done what she had been accused of. It was in fact a different child who had done whatever it was and both had tried to explain it, but the other teacher wouldn’t listen to them. It took 15 minutes to calm her down and hear what had really happened. We had a long talk and I told her that I would never judge her based on what her brother might do or what others tried to tell me. I never had a single problem with her ever. I had a chat with the other teacher and got things worked out. As the year progressed other teachers and the principal started noticing the changes in the little girl and were amazed and asked what I was doing differently to cause the changes. It’s simple don’t prejudge, respect, care about them and tell them that you care and are there for them and if they have a bad day it’s okay because tomorrow is a new day and we all start with a clean slate. Give them a chance and you will be amazed.

bishnupriya kar we all view an edited version of their life, I'm sure you didn't mean this is a nasty way, but I don't think you can make that assumption about their discipline of Alessia, or any of their children for that matter

@@ttbyt3 I haven't seen a change in Alessia 's behaviour in these two years and believe me I am watching them since Emilia was Andrea's age.She gets away with everything..we are not blind to see that.Even Anna admits quite often that Alessia is a difficult child.

She really needs is a handful. You can see she is looking for attention 24/7. All Anna does is show off the food she cooks and talks about cleaning the bathrooms. They have a housekeeper and a babysitter so I am not sure what she really does all day oh besides complain.

It's probably partly because she was only the youngest and got the undivided attention for a short time. A similar thing happened with my brothers.
