Short History of SACCONEJOLYs
In 2008 Anna was uploading beauty videos to youtube on her own channel and Jonathan was helping her behind the scenes.
In late 2009 Jonathan set up this channel because he wanted to do his own youtube videos. What started out as a week experiment to film his life everyday for 7 days in a row has now become SACCONEJOLYS
this channel was formally known as LeFloofTV but was later changed to SACCONEJOLYs
When Jonathan Joly married Anna Saccone they both decided that instead of Anna dropping her family name they would both take each others name and join them together.
They choose to use SACCONEJOLY rather then JOLYSACCONE simply because it sounded better.
Jonathan and Anna Saccone Joly have four children, Emilia Saccone Joly, Eduardo Saccone Joly, Alessia Saccone Joly and Andrea Saccone Joly they also have six maltese dogs, Albi, Sina, Theo, Bianca, Nivea and Nuvola.
They moved from Ireland to the UK in 2014.

Always sensible to strip children when they’re temp is so raised and not to cuddle them or sit them on you (as hard as that seems) so as to help their temp not to raise further. Sitting on someone/cuddling up to someone just makes them feel warmer. Hope she’s so much better now.

Yeah, that’s high enough for a febrile seizure. Any parent or caretaker should immediately help to bring the fever down..take off clothes, put in tepid bath, ice packs to underarms and groin, an antipyretic (acetaminophen or ibuprofen).

To add, with children it’s always best to check when the temperature is high anyway as they can get something called febrile illness from high temperatures as they cannot regulate properly and may have febrile convulsions which can of course be very scary

So I’m a children’s nurse in A&E and just so people don’t think they need to call 999 when their child has a temperature...temperatures are normal in children, it helps them fight infections and viruses. The shaking is like a shivering to try to cool themselves down, the same if they’re too cold, they’ll shake to warm up. Also, a child DOES NOT need to have a temperature of above 40 to have a febrile convulsion, some children will convulse with a temperature of 37.9 and some children will reach 42 and never have a seizure. Also, checking the temperature every few minutes is not going to help. Give calpol/ibuprofen, strip them off, try not to cuddle into them and just give them time. If still high after a couple hours, give the other medicine and repeat. Obviously there are red flags that go along with temperatures such as non-blanching rashes and neck stiffness etc etc but just the temperature alone is not cause for immediate concern

My daughter has developed a fever like that before in fact she was around Alessia ‘s age the first time. When we called the doctor they told us to alternate giving her doses of Tylenol and Ibuprofen every 4 hours and to put her in a lukewarm or tepid bath to help bring her temperature down and reduce the risk of febrile seizure. Her’s happened at 2 am and the doctor’s office was closed and if we had gone to the Emergency Room the only thing different would be them doing bloodwork, maybe an IV for fluids, and prescribe an antibiotic if it’s not a virus. She booked us an appointment for the morning and told us to take her to the hospital if she got worse before 8 am when the office opened. Thankfully she didn’t get worse and when we took her in she had double ear infections. It’s scary to see your baby under the age of 3 spiking a high fever especially a first child. Your calm demeanor helped to keep Alessia calm. Babies and children are more sensitive to their parents demeanor than most people realize which is why people on yesterday’s video were telling you to stop saying that the different rides and activities were scary and because you were making her scared to even try each thing. It’s the same thing when parents project their fears about going to the doctor or dentist based on their fears or insecurities. Some start it with their baby as early as 4-6 months old saying things about being scared of needles and getting shots which plants that notion in their head even when they don’t understand what is being said and it gets worse as they get older and more aware of things being said and done. Something to think about. All of your children are treasures and it’s fun to watch their different relationships develop and grow as they do. Eduardo has been such a great role model for Alessia and Andrea on how to show their love for each other, play, and interact and get along. There will always be minor squabbles because they’re siblings and different ages which is normal. Those close relationships can last a lifetime. I do wish that you both would stop constantly saying that Eduardo is a mess or trouble maker or the other negative things and the same with Alessia being Alessie messy or she’s a mood because they hear you and it reinforces that behavior or attitude. Back when Alessia was a tiny baby Eduardo had matured and developed enough to realize that he didn’t have to do everything Emilia dictated and that he could do things his way and play with different people and things. As expected Emilia wasn’t happy about the changes going on in her kingdom and she started rebelling in her own way which was doing things covertly and making it look like Eduardo had done it and faking injuries and blaming Eduardo for it. You can actually go back to videos from then and watch her in action. Sometimes it takes an outside observer to see what is going on. It’s similar to how children can be and act at school and on the playground where out of self preservation they blame someone else for something they did. It was around that time you suddenly noticed that Eduardo was acting up a lot and being naughty which in a way he was because he was standing his ground and not meekly following and doing everything Emilia said or did. Being in school and around children other than Emilia he had learned that hey she isn’t the boss and he could do other things and it was okay to do them. Emilia has really developed and matured over the last 7-8 months and thankfully it has been good changes as she realizes that she can now do different things with her schoolmates and friends and that she doesn’t always want to do things with her younger siblings and that’s okay too. Evidence of just how much she has changed is in the clip in her bedroom where Eduardo is trying to film a little bit with singing and dancing and he tells her not to be in it and she backs off to let him. In the past she would have been the center of attention and controlling everything. Pretty cool to see how that has changed. It became a game each time she snuck into the background and eventually they were giggling about it. I LOVE seeing how your relationship with each child is evolving and changing as they get older and can do different things with you. I have really enjoyed getting to know you and watch as the different events in your life and family has helped you all grow and change not only as individuals, but as a family and the different relationships within the family. I have a lot of respect for you and your family.I hope you understand what I am talking about. Moving to the new house was actually beneficial to the children because the shake up caused by the move allowed subtle changes to happen that allowed new dynamics to grow and develop their their relationships and how they interacted with each other. Sure there are still unsettled things that will take longer to even out, but it will calm down more with each passing day. Any change in a child’s routine can disrupt them and their behavior and moods for days just like different things can cause you to have ups and downs. Just some things to think about and I’m not telling what to do or anything just sharing some observations and insights from another parent and a teacher specializing in education of children from birth to 12+ years old. I also come from a large family (8 children) and my many years of working with children. So those with hateful comments etc can stop trying to create drama or being jerks because I won’t respond back to them. And yes I know that they aren’t my children and that I am not part of the family and I am not telling them what to do or how to raise their children. I am sharing information which they can take or leave. Have a nice day and hopefully Alessia is feeling better.

Sick kids... because as a parent you never want them to be sick but especially when they are too small to tell you what’s wrong! Also the fighting over the camera bit at the end! lol I know it’s all a part of raising kids but I think that’s why so many of us fell in love with the kids...it’s because you’re so good at only showing the bits that make you say “awwww” and not showing the bits that make you say “arghhhhh”! lolol ❤️

Very scary we have dealt with it recently in my 14 month old . Over two babies no matter what doc I asked about fever and when to worry I couldn’t get a decent answer until recently. This was what I was told by a doc I’m confident with , if the temp goes up to even 40 and you can bring it down slowly with calpol etc it’s fine it’s when it shoots up from normal to fever and over 40 worry . It’s how fast it goes up . I hope she is feeling better soon poor baba xxx

I had no idea what was happening I thought he was dying in my arms I rang 999 hysterically and they came so fast. I was traumastised for so long! I’d never heard of them before and my first thought that he was dying :( he’s two days younger then Lessie 💙

It's called a febrile convulsion! It's where your body convulses as it is unable to regulate it's normal temperature. A convulsion is in a way, the body's way of coping with the temperature.I have one when I was younger. So I think that they are quite common!

If the convulsions were a result of the fever, where did the fever come from? Was it just a virus or something?
@ashleighdean6943
@ashleighdean6943 5 жыл бұрын
rosie s It could of been a bacterial infection or a virus. Kids are still quite susceptible to infections and such. So yes, it was probably some sort of an infection.
