Normally, i plan to buy flowtech 75 with mid. spreader and sachtler activ 8 or 6. It's not my favorite type of tripod legs, but it's quite compact, lightweight an very fast in use. And it' s construction is harder to break.

I’m seriously considering to purchase this Sachtler 75 mm bowl tripod. Especially after watching your video. The price difference between the two is so enormous is that 75mm-er is the way to go. Are there adapters that would allow you to place a 100 mm bowl head onto the 75 mm bowl tripod? And if so, what are they called? I will highly appreciate your detailed response.

Yeah the mid level spreader on the 100 is like $650 by itself.

Will the 15sb 100mm head provide smooth pans without any shake at all, when using a 600mm lens with Sony FS5? how much better will it be when compared to the fsb8 head?

Never used full drag on anything ever. If you want a smooth pan or tilt on a long lens don't use the pan handle, put your hands around the base and strangle it with medium or low friction.

So which do you use now? 75 or 100??
