I used to sing these great sacred classics in choral groups. There were times I felt that I would lose control and spontaneously float into the rafters. When surrounded by others performing this choral music it is so beautiful and powerful that it causes immense feelings within...I don't know how to describe it...ecstasy ... sublime ecstasy. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

@stlouisix3 I understand why you say this! Yet the music in Heaven? Is so Beautiful and Holy, it's completely unapproachable beyond all reach. Beyond all measure to us here. And still, because God loves us more than anything and anyone He will have ever created outside of Jesus and Their Holy Spirit, the Beautiful music like this here was the creation by God Himself to be composed through many appointed musicians throughout time. Not just classical and Templar Chants, but in all types of music. God even played the electric guitar through Jimi Hendrix's fingers. Jimi's there in Heaven now still playing for God, as is Mozart, Mendelson, and the countless others✝ 🕎☪🕉☯✡☦🕊

Try finding this ANY WHERE on radio. They (TPTB) [The Powers That Be] don't want us being enlightened or uplifted in any way. This was/is beautiful, and could enjoy this any time of year. The Catholic Church has a remarkable history of sacred music that is rooted not only in plainchant and Gregorian chant but in the sacred chants of Jewish priests in the ancient temple in Jerusalem. It is heavenly as it turns our gaze not only inward but upward to God as well.

I was always confused about why Christian music was so hard to listen to. While exploring my faith I realised I was listening to protestant music that lacks in all subtlety and beauty because there is no tradition. Then I found the catholic way that connects my spirit with the history of the disciples of Christ. I can sit in contemplation and feel love love of christ instead of having a 40 year old with bleached hair and pre distressed jeans club me over the head with "How cool our God is"

@@mkshffr4936 that's what I'm mainly referring to. I feel like most mainstream protestant denominations in America are shamelessly watered down and hopelessly politicized. The Gospel plays second fiddle to the modern world. Alas, even as I write this, I am undergoing a crisis of faith myself. Pray for me, brothers and sisters. God bless

While I am aware that this music is for the Christian community I really feel that its message of thanks and praise transcends any single faith or religion, I'm not a very religious man but music like this reminds me that we all owe a debt of thanks to our creator for allowing man, to write such sublime music and then give us the divine talent to perform it to such perfection. This music and other music transports me back to my formative years and the trials and tribulations of growing up and the sometimes questionable paths I took that have eventually led me to where I am now. God bless

Your comment is rich & wise and very true. I am thankful to read it. Surely, you have understanding from God. The thoughts that I think about this piece are that Christ came down from heaven sent by God to pay the penalty for our wrongs(breaking God's commandments) and what glorious celebration we can have ; a reconciliation between God & man. Communion or Communication by prayer and song and His written word enlightening us to His ways & wisdom which all lead to the greatest joy & hope of Heaven. May God bless you and reveal all his truth to you.

Glory to the no-God, for I'm a religious atheist, and will be writing extreme reviews and reports on atheism, and also on my Puritan beliefs (without God, you got a problem with that?), only the physical is real, along with the spiritual, which is in your mind. And furthermore may I be listening to church music in my flat at night to purify the flat and the soul of my flatmate, and anyone who poisons my religiosity of morals, rituals, music or even Lucifer and Aquarius, or attempts to, I will destroy them with great vengeance and furious anger, for I'm the only God there is (God is an atheist).

While I was listening to this (Mozart's Requiem), I went to Facebook and found an announcement from my daughter that her father had died in the early hours of this morning. The juxtaposition of the two events was profoundly moving for me.

As I listen to Mozart it is early Easter morning. I have sung this music fir nearly 70 years in various chorales across the US. I wonderful way to start my Easter as I sing lightly along.
