@Ikerrad an animatic is just key frames, it’s using the minimum amount of frames to communicate the intended movement. An animation has in betweens, which are the frames that connect two key frames, basically it’s the movement that serves to transition one key frame into the next. So if I have a animatic of someone spinning, I might only draw a front view, three quarter view, and side view of the character in each direction (ie, facing left, facing right, facing towards the camera, facing away from the camera) and that would communicate that the character is spinning without actually having to draw every frame of a spin. If I was making an animation though I’d have to draw all the small adjustments in direction to get from one key pose of the spin into the next. Think of it like floating platforms and bridges. A key frame is a platform, in betweens are the bridges. You can still get to each platform without using the bridge, but you have to jump so it won’t be smooth, it’ll be more abrupt. If you use the bridges then it’s a continuous flow to the next platform. Since this animation clearly has frames in between the key poses it’s an animation.

@@irsyad-afif It’s not. Animatics are more similar to storyboarding. Animations are….animated. Some animatics can have animation in it but never to the extent of a full blown animated video.
