Looking into her big saucer eyes? You can just see that someone's in there. The lost & brokendown Marmie had an almost supernatural quality to her, like a sweet little 4-lb alien who used her telekinetic powers to draw you into the feral cat room that day and towards her cage. No matter how it happened, whether by fate or happy accident? This special girl found her human - the "just-right" person who could see her specialness, and open themselves to her otherworldly charms.

Thought the same thing We've moved household items but not the house!! We found a special needs kitty nobody wanted (except for her foster home who had her for 14 months). Folks called once to adopt but never twice. We still send photo's from "Tuluse" to her foster home on Anniversaries, B'days, & Xmas!

Remove all that fluffy bed stuff with fronds all over. Instead let her sleep on a few pure cotton towels to improve her asthma. Also to keep a clean, smoke free, dust free house. Thanks for giving this sweet kitty a home and lots of love!

A good air purifier can help too. But don’t run too much as it will suck all the moisture out of the air and cause worse problems like worsening asthma, headaches, skin problems, nose bleeds, dry eyes, sore throats, etc. Research a decent brand and type as some are a waste of money. Monitor the humidity and run it when your pets aren’t in the room (their tails and fur can get caught) and move it to different rooms occasionally. Even running one for a short time once a week can help. The air is full of things especially in the Spring with pollen, when we turn the heat on, and if moisture gets trapped anywhere causing things like mold. Her own dander can cause an asthma attack so cleaning the air occasionally can be important. Doing research before choosing to buy one or not is best. Bless you for rescuing Marmie! Pets are so incredibly good for our hearts and health. ❤

You’re a good person. I’m a cat guy. I lost my best friend cali girl after 18 yrs old a couple years ago. Not a moment goes by that I don’t miss her. I have health issues and Cali always knew when I was in pain. She’d come snuggle up, give me kisses and purr like crazy. RIP Cali 🥰🥰🥰

Stumbling upon that "off limits" feral room was one of many Acts of Fate that brought them together to save this sweet soul of adorableness. Marmie must of had a distressingly sad past before this amazing lady gave this big eyed beauty a wonderfully happy future. Your video brought to mind a good and applicable quote here: "You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start now and change the ending." And Marmie KNOWS and APPRECIATES DEEPLY all you do for her. Oh, one little thing - don't let her get TOO heavy. She looks like she's on the cusp of being overweight, and that puts a cat at risk of diabetes. Don't leave food out for her all the time, especially dry food, which is not healthy for cats because it's an extremely dry source of food, and cats get most of their hydration form the food the eat. Wet food is best - always. Minimize the amount of dry food you give her, if you're feeding her dry food. Dry food also puts cats at risk of developing crystals in their urinary tract. And THANK YOU for adopting her!!!! She is indeed a VERY special cat and a BEAUTIFUL being!

Her little gummy mouth! She is adorable. Thank you for managing her health and giving her happy life. My previous dog was adopted at 4 years old, over the years he had 3 dental appointments. He lost most of his teeth at the 1st one, subsequent appointments left him with just 4 teeth. He was pain-free and could ear. Animals are so resilient, they adjust.

To this beautiful cat mom, look up N-AC (N-acetyl cysteine) and put it in her food. I have asthma and mine was helped immensely by taking it, what a difference it has made. It’s been shown to help in cats with respiratory problems as well. ❤️😻🙏🏻

You should also look into the benefits of olive leaf extract - it has helped my husband’s asthma and has also helped to prevent lung infections he seemed to get annually.

What you say in this video about the limits of what you can do for Marmie is the same thing I tell my kids: in life, you can only do your best in the face of big challenges, so don't beat yourself up over that - do your honest best, but don't beat yourself up for not being able to do was is not possible. The time, resources, and love you are giving to Marmie is a huge contribution to this cat's current good health, and you should be immensely proud of what you have done. I know that I am proud of you, and I don't even know you! Big hats off to you, many times over!

There is something about her face . . . she reminds me of someone I can't quite remember, a human I used to like very much, I think at school when I was small. Nearly all the of the cats I have had, i have found but most have just turned up out of nowhere. In the past I have kept them,I only have 2 now.
