I think Link underestimates the value/ wonderfulness of his ability to completely suspend his intelligence/ enter that fugue state; yes, Rhett provides structure to his free flowing thoughts/ actions, but he gives Rhett some incredible things to work with that Rhett wouldn't necessarily get to on his own because he won't do things that he isn't already sure of―Link being so authentic/ unfiltered is such a strength that constantly and consistently leads to some of the funniest moments on GMM and beyond; neither of them is better, they both have unique strengths that just make them even better together

Link looked into the camera and said, "Whatever pressure that you're feeling..." and I immediately started crying. Going on 22, feeling like a disappointment that's fallen behind in life, and truly needed to hear everything he said. It may sound silly, but it means a lot to hear someone you've grown up watching say something so reassuring, even if it's not directly to me. Thank you to Link, Jarvis, and Jordan for a great episode!

You’re not alone. I’m your age, I dropped out of college, I struggle to follow my passions while managing ADHD and chronic pain, and I worry all the time about money and the future. I know that there are people who were in similar dire straits and got to a point of much more comfort and gratitude, and it could take decades of figuring out what you want and what you need. It’s so unrealistic to throw someone young into the workd and expect them to breath-stroke right away before learning to tread water. So I hope the best for you finding your own way and releasing from the pressures instilled in us :)

All your experiences count, even if it doesn't feel like a straight line towards "progress" take your time, have hobbies, make friends, learn stuff, progress comes in many forms. Progress bar is imaginary, cresting smaller goals for yourself can help sometimes because as a kid you have big ol landmark events and semesters, but adults don't have those, so you've gotta create your own celebrations. ♡ I'm 32, at 22 I think I had no car and had just taken a bunch of classes at the Community College and was just transferring... I got my degree in illustration finished at 26 and am apprenticing to do tattoos (something you don't need a degree for), however looking at those experiences and all those online classes gave me a foundation that literally shocks the other artists within the shop, my dedication to craft blah blah. Still learning, still becoming better and honestly my specialty retail experience and substitute teaching experience is useful af.

Watching this made me so happy. I’ve been enjoying y’all’s content (individually and SadBoyz) for years now and seeing that it’s still in a growing stage and y’all have so many creative ideas and sooooo much support is just so nice and I can’t wait to see future content 💕

Like Jarvis, I also found Rhett and Link through their T-shirt war videos. It's been many years of fun watching this kind of growth!

the end message link said was really sweet and i beeded that❤. Also Jarvis you did a great job of directing the topics discussed and gently steering the conversation back towards what you all wanted to talk about when needed!

Thank you for the advice Link. Life can be really daunting nowadays and being inevitably thrust into the machine of the world is a scary cherry that the life sundae could do without right now. Staying true to ourselves and having fun is really important, I just hope there's a reasonable way to do it and still fund my living. It's really nice to hear the sentiment from someone who was a big deal in my earlier childhood, I haven't watched any GMM in years, but the songs y'all made are always echoed in conversation with my family (Usually I Am A Thoughtful Guy and Rub Some Bacon On It). Thank you for continuing to bring more joy to the world even so many years later.

man. Link’s speech just kinda broke my heart. he’s like one of the first big content creators i remember watching, and even if i haven’t watched them in like 10 YEARS… knowing Rhett and Link are as successful as ever and experiencing the wonders of parenthood just like any other person makes me feel a bit better about how i’m doing. him looking at the camera and just talking genuinely made me cry. i feel like i can do something with my life when the experiences i grew up with evolve into role models i can look at as an adult. thank you, Link Neal.
