The tightness of the band, the intoxicating groove, and the perfection of Sade's technical and emotional vocals still gives me goose bumps after all these years. Amazing class and musicianship. No army of dancers, no gimmicks, no auto-tune - just incredible music played and sung with precision and feeling by true artists. I don't hear much of that in the music of the last 20 years...

It really is insane how consistent both Sade herself and the band are. There are times you’d be forgiven for thinking they’re miming, often the only deviation from the studio versions are intentional ones, flourishes added and whatnot. And of course her voice now has a subtly richer, warmer resonance with age. I hope they tour again so I get to see them live in my lifetime!

That's because she preserved her voice. She and her band can be called as the most successful band ever. As they can take long hiatus and easily sold out all the tickets whenever they feel like they want to do a live show. Most artist didn't have luck like her, their producer is forcing them to work like horse and milk them alive.

After seeing a brief, but traumatizing clip, of Madonna recently writhing in such a stomach-turning way, THIS is the medicine I needed. Sade has always been an act of elegance, beauty, and grace, with a voice and songs that make me think of a smooth, fine whisky that caresses and warms without being crass. I was one of those guys who just loved her music, voice, and style back in the 80s. Thank you, Sade, for being what so many "performers" are not.

The most naturally gorgeous professional musician I've ever seen. And that smooth Angelic voice, so relaxing and emotive. She seems to do it with such ease. I'm rarely impressed, but Sade as always is the exception to the rule.

I was a student at San Diego State this night. I was studying in the Library and could hear this concert from the Open Air Theater. Lucky me… been a big fan ever since.

I'm from San Diego, Saw all her live concerts in San Diego, including this one! In my opinion, she and the entire band perform her songs even better live than recorded in the studio! The Sound and Visual Arts in her 4 concerts I have seen in San Diego probably were the best I have seen in my lifetime! She is the BEST! LOVE FOREVER!

Best comment ever. Lol. She's just pure magic. Her style is like a once in a century kinda thing. When you love music, firstly; then you get to know the artwork of this woman and how she worked to use her music and style to represent her as a brand/person. It makes you second guess if unicorns are real. While she is enormously successful, I feel like she's underrated. Needless to say: I love her music with a passion :)
