Swami Nirmalananda had sent me a word to visit him as he was planning to enter mahasamadhi but I did not make it. He was living so very simply, loved the nature around him and had written two very beautiful books expressing this serenity in the hills. He baked a bread and gave me, with a bottle of forest honey when I moved on. A wonderful person!

The problem of attachment is within your mind. So, going somewhere will not solve the problem. Next, to become a yogi, there is no need to become old. Please sit in your home alone in the night and question yourself how the thoughts work. Each thought is the derivative of the old thought. So, when you analyse them, you will end up with only one thought, that is the 'I' thought. If you understand what it is and its relationship with consciousness or awareness, then that is the end of self-enquiry and you will automatically implement what you have understood. The day you can leave this 'I' and clear your mind completely, no attachment will matter then. Age is just a number for body and your mind knows it. Just you don't know it yet, Shiv Shambu brother..

If you wants to meditate first you have to clean your system. So how to do that? 1. Run daily 5 km 2. fast in a week 3. do physical activities as much as possible 4.stay in touch with soil 5. Avoid unhealthy food 6.stay in touch with consecrated places, like isha yoga centre. Within 3 to 4 years or may be early than that you will be able to seat still, and then everything will be easy.

When I was 30, I always believed I won't reach 33 and I will die before that. I was 32 when I was in a 90-day journey in Nepal. I almost died there. I meditated to welcome death and someome said "NOT YET" the rest is history I died a spiritual death. At 33 I started to become a different person
