there are pleasant feelings and unpleasant feelings, and there are feelings which are neither pleasant nor unpleasant. Attachment to any of these brings suffering, as none of these lasts. If love is conditioned to pleasantness, it is called affection, not love. love is not conditioned by the presence of any type of emotion or feeling, love just IS.
