The Dos Santos II need to be an I skill!!! No way it’s graded the same as a Silivas or a Chusovitina that are both present in 99% of top level floor routines

I think both Silivas and Chuso need to be downgraded. The double lay should be an E and Silivas F or G.

I disagree, they have a lot of deductions, especially with the chuso.

@@tadg2003 I disagree about devaluing the Silivas and the Chuso because they are still very hard but just the frequency of them compared to the dos santos ii shows that the Dos Santos II is obviously harder

it seems any half twist skill in the first salto is equal to a full twisting in the first salto (double Arabian tucked and full twisting double tuck) so dossantos2=chusovitina

@@bagelized I agree with the silivas but I think the chuso is fine because it's still difficult and a lot of people that attempt it don't even do it fully laid out. The dos santos II definitely needs to be an I though. I'd say it's just as hard as a moors

@@GymnasticsSavesLives she had a coaching abuse scandal. I’m not sure if she spoke up herself but she was at the center of it. I’ve never heard about her being black listed however.

@@eimardgomes1128 i don’t think so. she competed in 2021 at all japan. she could be shunned by the selection committee but i doubt they could legally blacklist her from competing.

I know it's hard to judge when she's using a tramp, but the dos Santos looked by far the best of the three she tried there (and I'd love to see it back and agree it's underrated)

The creator didn't deserve to have it named after her. She NEVER DID IT STRAIGHT. sHE WAS ALWAYS PIKED AND THESE VIDEOS PROVE IT.

I've always admired her as a gymnast, extremely talented, though I believe she was pushed way too hard by whoever build her difficulty on floor, it was clear the last few times I saw her performing it she was struggling big time, and taking major deductions and eventually getting serious injuries. She is definitely cabable of doing whatever she puts her mind into, including the Dos Santos II - which atm I trust it to be the HARDEST skill on women's floor, definitely not for the light hearted or whoever wants to excel on execution. Hence I'm forever a great fan of Daiana dos Santos for stamping it onto the code of points.

@@thesovgc it's picked, which is a deduction, but certainly not on the degree of being downgraded. Some Chusovitinas and Moors (Amy Tinkler) have been credited with much worse form.

Maybe we’ll actually get to see a real double Arabian layout one day. I maintain that it should be renamed when that happens lol.

@@eimardgomes1128 hell yeah. Any skill that hasn’t been performed correctly by the eponymous gymnast should be renamed for the first gymnast that completes the skill the way it’s supposed to be done. I’m sure whining will help you make your point, though. cry harder 🤡
