If I was erica I would've been like naaaw everybody can sit back down I didn't invite this intruder😅. But seriously they better off separate, he doesn't care enough to secure her happiness with him.

I sort of shed a tear during this scene. Imma explain why. By watching this video I truly got to see how easy it is to be sucked back into a narcissist’s trap. This is how they keep you in and hooked. I’ve gone through this so many times and this is also why my outlook on women who have been in domestic violence relationships has changed in a major way. I have so much more compassion, empathy and love for women who been through that more than I did before. Before I couldn’t understand it or understand why they went back to their abuser but now… now I see why.. I went back to my abusers (yes plural) time and time again because they did ths.. apologized and my abuse was never violence but it was constant verbal abuse, manipulation, psychological, emotional and mental abuse. Everytime my abuser did this I was sucked back in just that easy because at the end of the day (before I broke free of this stronghold) I felt I had to prove I was worthy of love and kindness, I had to work hard for it and hold on and make it work and make the other person see that I really did care by fighting for love aka “proving” I was worthy . It was so easy to keep getting sucked back in and going back to my abuser. Now that I have started my spiritual and healing and journey and looking into therapy I see these patterns stem from my traumatic and abusive childhood and not being loved and made feel worthy and so while I’m healing these toxic patterns are coming to light and my third eye is being open and so many great revelations I’m getting and so many things I’m healing from and also learning about myself. I said all that to say while I would truly like to believe safari is really sorry his actions are going to have to match his words and in this instance I could really for once surprisingly put myself in Erica’s shoes because in a way safari is showing narcissistic behavior. This isn’t his first time apologizing to her in front of the whole world only to go back and fuck up and hurt her again. I’m not saying she don’t love herself cause I don’t know her but I know when I didn’t love myself or thought I didnt deserve better I kept going back to my abuser/narcissist because it felt good and FAMILIAR AND COMFORTABLE at the time as bizarre as that sounds … it’s hard to explain. I hope Erica makes the right decision for her mental health, her sanity, her children, but more importantly for herself. Sending love and light genuinely and sincerely to all the women who have been apart of this type of abuse. It’s not easy . It’s not easy to get out, leave and stay gone and even if you mess up and go back … be kind to yourself.. give yourself grace .. some of us have abandonment issues to work on as that could be apart of it as well. None of us are perfect but we are all worth love and I still have to keep reinforcing and telling myself I’m worthy of love even when I don’t feel it because of how damaged and broken and traumatized I am but I’m worthy of the blessing and the things that will come on the other side of me working on myself and really going deep and healing those deep rooted parts of me and my subconscious minds. Ladies you’re worth it. To the woman reading this I love you and you’re not alone.

I’ve been married for 18 years and if God us to live to see this May of 2022 it’ll be 19 yrs. no marriage is easy it’s about what you put into the time, effort, communication, romance, the lessons and the Blessings, we have 3 Beautiful Children we never separated, we’ve had our share of ups and downs because we were both young when we got married he was 20 and I was 24 but it’s a life long of lessons you’re going have bumps and bruises along the way but you both have to remain focused, Faithful, date each other, listen to each other and come to a common ground and understanding, I wish them both the best.

The main part that needs to be addressed is the fact that Erica didn’t choose her spouse based on character and values. She did not vet him properly. She chose to focus on her emotions instead of who he actually was. So this unfortunately is her fault for choosing man based on her emotions.

This "sincere" apology sounded like it came from someone who is tired of being labeled the bad guy, but doesn't REALLY feel bad for what he did. Speaking from personal experience, a sincere apology, acknowledging the wrongs they've done, from the person you loved the most and who hurt you the most, is a bittersweet feeling. I know from my experience, I was shocked, and happy, thankful, and sad all at the same time.
