ആ ഗ്രഹണ കാലം ഓർക്കുന്നു.. പുറത്തിങ്ങാതെ കിടന്നുറങ്ങി പകൽ രാത്രിയായ ആ കാലത്ത്.. ശേഷം കുളത്തിൽ പോയി കുളിച്ചു ശുദ്ധിയായി... എവിടെയും സൂര്യ ഗ്രഹണത്തെ പറ്റിയായിരുന്നു ചർച്ച... അപ്പോൾ പ്രക്ഷേപണം ചെയ്ത 'ഗ്രഹണം ' എന്ന റേഡിയോ നാടകം ഓർമ്മയിൽ വരുന്നു... ഒരു ഗ്രഹണം അങ്ങയുടെ ഗ്രാഫ് ഉയർത്താൻ കാരണം ആയതിൽ ഏറെ സന്തോഷം... അന്ധവിശ്വാസം കരുതി വീട്ടിൽ ഇരുന്നിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ അങ്ങയെ കേൾക്കാൻ കഴിയുമായിരുന്നോ ഞങ്ങൾക്.. ആദരവും സ്നേഹവും മാം.. 🥰🥰

ഞാൻ കരുതിയത് എനിക്ക് ഒരു കാര്യം അത്‌ വായന ആയാലും സിനിമ കാണുന്ന ആയാലും മറ്റുകാര്യങ്ങൾ ആയാലും ഒരു 2or 3 മിനിറ്റ് അപ്പുറം അടങ്ങി ഇരിക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ല എന്നാണ്. ഞാൻ skip ചെയ്യും അങ്ങനെ ആണ് കാണുന്നത്. ഒരു സിനിമ 8 or 10 പ്രാവശ്യം ആയാണ് കാണുന്നത്. പക്ഷെ മാഡം സംസാരിക്കുന്നത് കേട്ട് മണിക്കൂർ കൾ പോയത് അറിഞ്ഞില്ല. ഒറ്റ ഇരിപ്പിന് 4or 5 എപ്പിസോഡ് കണ്ടു. ഒരു മിനിറ്റ് പോലും ബോർ അടിപ്പിക്കുന്നില്ല. 👍👍

Anitha Ma'am, great listening to your life trajectory. Lucid and very interesting. Your narrative about your Indian Express days resonated with me. After schooling in Kerala, I became a trainee journalist drawing Rs. 500. And joined Indian Express in 1984. Worked there for 11 years as sub-editor, chief sub, and principal correspondent till 1996 under Arun Shourie, BG Verghese, Suman Dubey, Prabhu Chawla, etc., etc. And then joined The Telegraph, Delhi bureau, where you also worked. Journalism was an addiction in those days. Now got de-addicted. Wish you all the best. God bless.

I felt your narration in Malayalam a little funny, but absolutely honest. Why haven't you published this very interesting memoir yet?! I hope you will soon. ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ കാര്യം അല്ല അവർ പറയുന്നത്. പണ്ട്, ചെറുപ്പത്തിൽ മുടി ഷോർട്ട് ആയി വെട്ടിയിരുന്ന കാലത്തെ കാര്യം ആണ്. ഇത്രയും നല്ല ഒരു ഒരു അനുഭവക്കുറിപ്പ് കേട്ടിട്ട്, ഇത്രയും ബാലിശമായ ഒരു comment post ചെയ്തത് മോശം ആയി പോയി.
