Thanks for the video captain. As simple and basic as the content may seem to some, the information is fundamental. If you aren’t exposed to this on a regular basis, people tend to not be aware. An untrained or inexperienced boater is honestly a danger to himself and others. And most times it’s simply due to the fact that they just don’t know any different. Thank you again captain

I'm considering buying my first boat and your videos really help me learn a lot about the boating world. I handle 80k on the roadways but boating is a totally different animal, but I'm pretty sure educating myself will make me prepared.. Thanks for the great training and tips.... As for the ads folks fast forward through the video and replay then they won't take away from the video.. Stay safe out there..

Thank you for watching, does your boat have some sort of blue wrap? Yes, the last few weeks we've been spending a lot of time testing some new jigs/techniques in 300-800 ft. Saturday was touch, we only managed a single tuna, single tilefish and single porgy along with an assortment of other critters. How did you guys do? - Capt Mike
@UGSavemejebus
@UGSavemejebus 6 жыл бұрын
Yes - that was us. We were determined to get revenge on the amberjacks. My friend got a nice one - 30lbs or so - off the Ronald. Other than that, had a couple king strikes on a jig. One bit the metal. The other took the assist hook. Fun day but we were taking a bath in our boat.

Capt. Mike, also a beginners guide to handling the fish of Florida waters would awesome. Gill plates, spines, sharks/barracuda. Best way to handle a fish to I can safely release it. Basically what can I touch and where so I don't hurt myself or the fish? I don't know what to look out for.

Correct, I removed the tower because I moved houses and have to deal with a fixed bridge. The tower is very nice when trolling for dolphin and a huge advantage. Also looks great! Otherwise, I don't miss it too much. - Capt Mike

It's a lot better to put your rope on the center cleat at the mid point of the boat. That way the stern can't swing away from the dock. If it tries the bow will stop it and vise Versa also it's a lot closer to the console if you are boating solo.

He's so right! People buy that 370Z as their first boat and think it's a two week process to be a great boater. It's one of the reasons being aware of your surroundings is so key! I'd assume Captain Mike your experience was more like mine. I started with an 18' 150hp single then moved to a 26' twin and now run a 31' twin 350 (love the Verados). It's like buying a 16 year old a ferrari and expecting them to control it when someone has 1000+ hp as their first boat.

SunFlower sometimes I do some pro bono work but that’s not really the point. I’ve given you some viewer feedback and as is your prerogative, you’ve chosen to ignore it. Given the choice between watching your videos which are really interesting but have way too many adverts. Or watching say Deermeatfordinner who also have really interesting fishing videos but don’t have any adverts, I’ll be watching them. This is the rub... Your video was great but I’ve not watched anymore of your videos because the one I watched had too many videos. What you do with customer feedback is up to you. You can ignore it or act on it. Happy fishing.

The ads and commercials on this is ridiculous. What a shame, it seemed like it would be a good video. Hopefully y’all get your finances in order so you won’t need so many paying ads lol
