Guinea pig parents, both old and new, always ask themselves, "Can I feed this to my guinea pig?" Well, Guinea Dad is here to help! In this video, I will be talking about important nutrients for guinea pigs. Then based on those nutrients, I'll be sharing some recipes that can help you in planning your daily meal for your guinea pigs! Okay, I burst out laughing because the ending was like - WTH? Cliffhanger? I felt like it was the end of a season of a tv show. Like Who Shot JR? Who took away Dumpling? What was wrong with poor Peanut? Will Tofu ever tire of hay? The answer to these questions and many others, tune in next season when GuineaDad conquers eye strain, Dumpling's disappearance, and where did all the piggies poops go? Love those piggies!

I feed my pigs a variety of foods everyday depending on what they are the day before to make sure they are getting all the vitamins and minerals they need. Listing all the food I feed would take a while so I’m just gonna say that I feed them different veggies everyday. But some of the staples that I feed every single day would be yellow bell pepper, green/red leaf lettuce, radicchio, cucumber for a snack all mixed in a salad bowl once a day with some other veggies that I switch in and out. Like parsley, carrots, tomato, celery and many more.😊❤️ love you GuineaDad hope you like my feeding schedule!

I feed my pigs a cup of fresh veggies a day which is a mix of dark leafy greens and bell peppers. I use berries like strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, apple and carrot as an occasional treat. Great video as always, thank you for sharing and suggesting different diet mixes.

Thanks for this. So many videos talk about adult Guinea pigs but mine are only 6 weeks. Still introducing vegrables to them in tiny tiny portions with a bit more every day

I love watching your videos, I just got my liners today! I noticed that you use liners as well as the grey rug for floor time, how do you clean the rug ? I want to make my piggies floor time more fun by adding a carpet because my floors are too slippery for them. Thanks!!

I recently adopted two guinea pigs. I named them Pecan and Pistachio. Both females have the same coloring. I've been experimenting with what they like so far. The meal plans and your videos have been a big help so far. Thank you.

So I have been a piggy mommy for about 6 months. Mine get vitamin c in there water and daily veggies. Mine so far do not like carrots much or peppers. They absolutely love spring mix lettuce, cilantro, celery and cucumber. The only fruit they have really liked was watermelon. I was shocked how they ate the rine too. I keep trying on the others but little interest.
