So far i know SD= Static draft+ Required UKC+ Squat + ZOC correction + Density correction + Heel correction + COT correction -Tide. The SD must calculated for Each route leg and changing weather condition.

There is possible safe water beyond safety contour but not in safety depth so why alarm for sc not for sd?

As because if once you cross safety depth you are already in danger. There is no more benefit of such alarm. Please share me your idea as well on the same. Thanks

In JRC and Transas Ecdis this two options are separate hence, also need to put value separately. I dont remember of any type specific ECDIS where these two options are merged though these two values can be the same. Thanks mate for your comment and excuse me for inconvenience.
