We watched the safety video, then for like a week, we did fire safety training. Some of the stuff included: crawling on the floor of a room filled with fog, stop-drop-roll, and going to local fire stations.

I can't watch it and not laugh. It is so clear the commercial intended it to be humourous, for whatever reason. That is a pretty unlikely situation, and the random placement of the glass was just asking for the clip to be laughed at. If it was real, I wouldn't be laughing. But it's so obviously fake that I can't help it.

One of the things I liked most about Gilbert Gottfried was that he was always cool about doing stuff for kids even though he also had adult appeal through some of his less than PG-rated comedy. It's why he's legit one of the most upsetting deaths of my time. I will always remember him through Cyber Chase and Aladdin from my childhood.

Hiyaa! I can explain the shoes the person has on the kitchen one. Maybe So basically, those might be non-slip shoes. This is mainly because spills can occur on the floor, and non slip shoes can prevent you from slipping with knives in hand. That, or it's to prevent hot oil from falling on it.

As a ServSafe certified person as well, these videos are always the best. I watched one when starting at a gas station that was filmed in the 80's and had a moment where a teenager turned into an 8 year old claiming to have an ID, and drunken Mario swerving in the road. Even years later, I'll never forget them, so I guess it was effective.

I had to watch these exact workplace safety videos at school for auto mechanics class and i remember the whole class laughing at the accidents and the teacher just not letting us in the shop because of it

I really hope you guys will get around to watching ‘Surviving Edged Weapons’, as it’s genuinely probably one of the absolutely batshit insane videos out there on police training/weapon safety (RLM did watch it some time ago and then JonTron did it, but I still feel like more people on YT need to be exposed to that MASTERPIECE)
