Is it just me, or is the voice acting all over the place in this? The first couple voices didn't even sound like characters and more like developers talking about a game, and then it sounded like I heard Amber Lee Connors at one point.

The Saga games may look like a "mobile game" but that is how it's always been. The upside is that you can a ton of characters each with it's own backstory so you can mix and match formations. Give the demo a shot you may like the game and there are tons of branching paths in the full game.

even then, the SaGa games are reminiscent of some of the best mobile RPGS from back in the day like the Chaos Rings series (a comparison that came up a lot in my head while playing Minstrel Song on Steam).

The SaGa games are actually all quite challenging, dating back to the game that sort of inspired its style, Final fantasy 2. I couldn't really get into SaGa because of its style, but from what I played, it's pretty nifty. Definitely worth a look

Garry Newman and Face Punch Studios (especially Nintendo) if your hearing this, on April 24th I saw a message about the Nintendo Addons being removed but the DCMA claims are 100% fake. There is a person who is an employee of Nintendo and he's the culprit who targeting Garry's Mod, TF2, SFM and more. It's Aaron Peters. On February I saw a video from Crispy Toast that the Mario Addons were gone and when I played GMod some of the Mario Addons were gone but being brought back. Crispy Toast found out who it was and it turned out to be Aaron Peters. If the Gmod animators hear this to, it's Aaron Peters who destroying everything. So let's get him back and send him to justice and save the Nintendo Addons from this person. So please Garry Newman and Face Punch Studios, we need to get the Nintendo Addons back. We'll help you stop this nightmare by stopping Arron Peters. Arron Peters need to be fired and be arrested for this. So please let us help you and fight back. Also the Mario Kart maps in TF2 are originals because of lots of great random stuff like the Luck Star opening on the screen and more. So let us stand up and stop Aaron Peters from doing this.

@@Jordan3DS 14 years is not "several decades" it isn't even a decade and a half. Also there have been multiple mobile/browser games in between the release of this one and the last one even. Mainline or no, a game is a game and their statement isn't wholly inaccurate. (There was also a mobile game and a browser game released between Unlimited Saga and SaGa: Scarlet Grace)

SaGa games are very much a love it or hate it kinda series, even among RPG fans. If there’s a demo, I’d recommend giving it a try, and if it’s not your cup of tea no biggie. If it ends up clicking with you, you have a lot of games you can catch up on after that.

There's a demo out if you want to try it, every system has a different character available for the demo, the Switch lets you play as the witch Ameya. The overworld gameplay so far has been pretty basic point-and-click adventure game fare, but the battle system is surprisingly amazing and has a ton of depth. Setting up a crazy party combo is a ton of fun lol Definitely not for everyone but it's worth checking out if you're like me and are crazy for good turn based battles.

As long as its not due to corporate meddling, I think its cool from a diversity standpoint to have a character who i presume is dressed in traditional Islamic clothing standing toe to toe with other characters who are more traditional jrpg types. Its like this game is 90% jrpg 10% isakei due to that part of the cast. Also apologies if im completely misunderstanding all of this lol

Uhh @zacharyallbrook5162 I looked at what he said and it’s a form of assault or attempted murder in which a victim's jaw is forcefully placed on a curb and then stomped from behind, causing severe injuries and death. This is not in a mario game because it isn’t kid-friendly, It could be fatal.🙁 So this could be a violation of KZfaq’s community guidelines and Terms of Service. You might wanna check the guidelines over everything.🙁
