Sankarabharanam, Salangai Oli., Sapthapathi, Raagam Ananda Bhairavi... 4 of the early 80s Telugu classical music based movies I could see from the northern most town of Kerala.. Kanhangad... Those were the days! Life was so natural.. Cinema at Theatres were the greatest entertainment... And Kamal was an entertainer Artist Par Excellence!

Bharat ratna should be given to director vishwanath not to Kamal Hasan. Because kamal is a kissing star. (In some interviews encourage youth not marry ) While director Viswanath garu is king of making Indian cultural movies,

@@sriasvsnvarma Certianly Shri K Viswanath deserves a Bharath Ratna for this movie. But still you are only looking one side of Kamal and the movie. The whole movie is to show how well our country versed in the different art forms. Kamal being a dancer who took even more efforts to show his skills different classical dance art forms really throws a great value upon his shoulders. If this is not done properly in this scene, then the movie would have been a complete failure inspite of K Viswanath's direction skills. Really Kamal who took that risk to make it big to show how diverse is our country. That is something not many movies show. Hence I will hold to my verdict.

Every movie could be remade. You always think of a current day actor in a classic remake or reboot. Ages may pass. Never will come another actor who could pull this off. Remember Kamal was just late 20s when he pulled off a 60+ with such perfection in body language attitude voice depth. Just forget the dance part. We’re all in awe anyway. People can dance like this. People will act like this. But they can never be the same person.❤

Just saw zee Telugu awards today... Felt very ashamed on how Shri vishwanath Garu was felicitated... Everyone were praising chiranjeevi... What the hell... Should have called Shri Kamal Hassan to felicitate the greatest legendary director of Telugu film industry Shri vishwanath Garu...
