The best teacher ever, thank you Rana. Did I have to use yaa even when I just want to comment a picture of somebody? I wrote; Keefak 7elo? Or it have to be, Keefak yaa 7elo? Thank you so much for your answer. Yalla bye!

We're glad you're enjoying the lessons Lucy! You can say the sentence with or without "yaa". It's a bit more cheeky to say "keefak yaa 7elo", because the "yaa" implies that he is the only "7elo" (handsome guy)

Saifi Institute For Arabic Language GREAT LESSONS ! YOU'RE HELPING ME A LOT ! I just wanted to ask if I would be only understood in Lebanon or the middle east speaking this way, or also in Iraq, Egypt etc. ?
@SaifiArabic9 жыл бұрын
AstekOst Urban Arabic is our curriculum for teaching Levantine Arabic, which is spoken in Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Jordan. However, it is widely understood throughout the Arab world (second only to Egyptian Arabic) because of people are used to hearing it in music, movies and TV shows

Let me answer your question please, no, the dialect in Qatar & UAE is different from the dialect of Lebanon, but they all understand each other because their mother language is one which is Arabic, each Arab country has its own Arabic dialect which is understood by all Arabs
