As an architectural designer, who strictly follows the "form follows function" ethos - this was pure boat porn for me...! (And I'm not even a huge fan of sailing vessels!) You had me at 'no A/C'... "You're not going to need A/C where we're going... Heat? Yeah, you'll need that." Where are the TVs...?!? Why no Italian designer cushions...?!? "We don't need no stickin' designers...!" Great vessel... Great tour Nick...! Cheers mate.

@@gregfawcett5152 Marine alloy Aluminum forms a natural oxide layer on its surface that protects the metal intrinsically. It's the same process as artificial anodizing. Dissimilar metals can cause galvanic corrosion if not protected with Zincs, electric isolation, bonding, etc., as appropriate. That is the same as any other boat that has more than one metal/alloy in contact with each other and seawater.

A gift. A rare treat. A "Come look at this" moment. Nick, to get a personal tour, on such a yacht demonstrates your depth in the "community". As to he boat - at times on the tour I'd think "but what about this or that" then there it would be. The boat has everything - not just safety, but comfort as well. Lots of different places to "tuck yourself away". Thank you Nick. Thank you for sharing. And yes - STUNNING BOAT. The dreams ARE being nurtured.

Stunning boat. Built on experience with no experimentation. Failsafe systems with no redundancy anywhere. Loved all the cabins. Very comfy and the communal area was fastantic. Galley looked pretty good too. With only 4 crew, they must all have multiple jobs. How do you find people with those skills? Someone who can cook a 3-course meal and plot a course to Antarctica! Amazing yacht, the thought that has went into this can only be achieved through a life long experience of sailing in the worlds most dangerous palaces, what I wouldn't give to be allowed to sail her. Awesome video, thank you.

This is by far the most fascinating boat I’ve ever seen! Never mind the super yachts or mega yachts, I’d want to take this boat for an adventure of a lifetime!

This is just as a ship should be: no frills, fit to purpose and kept simple.

Actually, a ship should be anything you want it to be. This is perfect for the application it's used for. But if someone wants to cruise the Med in style and luxury while hosting some parties and just having a good time, then that person is going to want some frills!

@@sbeve6559 agree 100%. Nevertheless some redundacies might be taken in consideration when building huge yachts (IMHO).

What a beast! The most amazing thing I heard was the setup that forces a makeshift rotation through the mechanical space. That's thinking that comes from decades of experience. As Nick would say...Brilliant!
