This is part 1 of my video series about my 2023 sailing expedition.
In this big adventure I tried to sail from the Mediterranean Sea into the Norwegian Arctic.
In this 1st episode I sail 1000 miles from my homeport Malinska in Croatia to Cagliari on Sardinia.
This episode also tells the story about the history of how it came to this project.

Sehr gutes Video! Ich finde es sehr erfrischend, dass du deine Vorgeschichte zum Projekt erzählt hast. Es zeigt, wie schwer es ist so etwas umzusetzen, die Gelegenheiten auch in schlechteren Zeiten zu nutzen und es letztlich dann eben doch zu tun. Da kann man sehr viel lernen. Der Rest ist super interessant und ich freue mich schon auf die kommenden Episoden! Schöne Grüße aus Vorarlberg und Danke für deine Zeit, die du da reinsteckst.

Great video Bernhard, can you please tell few words about your boat and sails you beeen using.

Thank you! The boat is a Belliure Endurance 35 built in 1983, traditional long keel boat. There is a video (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mcyibNRlsMC2kWg.html) where I talk about the boat. The sails are from a hybrid material called Hydranet which is said to be bullt-proof. It is tri-radial cut and I'm very happy with them. All sails are new. I bought them specifically for this project since the original sails which came with the boat where pretty worn-out.
