3 weeks later - binge watch done. Escapism at its best. Thank you - for the laughs, such fun - for the learning, DIY and sailing - for sharing such beautiful places. I have loved watching Uma become the beautiful boat she is now. The love between you two is wonderful to watch. The time and effort you put into filming and editing is appreciated. The only down side of a binge is that now I have to wait a week for the next one. Cheers, from South Africa.

You see I for one am disabled, I'll never get to make the travel's you two are making...Yet like so many travel vids we the viewer get to see next to nothing of the places yu stop.. I have spent time in Europe Every country over there has thousands of years of fascinating history... heck every town has such history....You seem to be doing okay as far as viewers, still I would like to challenge you to show and share the wealth of history of the places you visit. interacting with the people you find would be great too...

Most of Norway during the fall, is rain, rain and then some more rain. The amount depends a bit upon where you are in the country, but generally wherevverr you are, it will be wet. The stairs leading into my house here in Norway hasn't been dry for weeks and that should tell you someting. Fun little fact for you, did you know that during this trip you guys are seing way more of Norway than most Norvegians will ever get to see.

next time you are near a repair facility you need to have a tube welded into your boom where the lines to the traveler connect the stainless steel yolk. When the boom swings we can clearly see the bolt moving and that would indicate excess wear in the hole through the boom. Welding in a tube secures the bolt and reinforces the boom in that area . We don't want to see you lose your boom now do we.

I lived in Norway for a few months on my erasmus and loved the brun ost (brown cheese)! Because it was so sweet we had it more as a dessert, we would toast waffles, spread on some nutella and add thin slices of brown cheese on top, the kind we had would melt a bit. It had a kind of caramelly-chocolately taste, we called it the "brun ost mars!"

That was the most epic rainbow I have ever seen! I can't work out what phenomenon caused the brightness inside the rainbow, unless it was something to do with light refraction. That scenery is magnificent. Back in the Pleistocene, the European ice sheet was centered on Norway and in places was 3 Km thick! As it retreated it left glaciers behind which carved out all these amazing valleys which filled up with water. I love seeing this sort of scenery and working out how it got like that. After crossing the glacier threshold at the entrance to the Sogne Fjord, the fjord is as deep as the surrounding mountains are high. That is 1300 meters! This means that the warm surface water from the Gulf Stream flows into the fjord, while the colder deep water stays out. The effect is that of a hot water boiler. This is also the reason why cherries are harvested and strawberries grow here in the far north, at the latitude of the southern tip of Greenland, in early summer. The fjord, like the entire west coast of Norway, never freezes.

Dissing the Brunost..... After all these years eating it, I have never even thought about melting it. It is indeed an acquired taste. Thanks for another excellent video guys.

Melt some brunost in the sauce/gravy - great with game meat. It is not really cheese but the whey (leftovers from making cheese) boiled so it is reduced to a caramelized solid.

Watching with my wife and she remarked what great quality images you are producing these days. She literally took the words from my mouth. Well done on another great video and thank you for sharing.

Very well done, love your channel. Thanks for showing much of the actual sailing rather than talking to camera about the sailing. And those breakfast burritos look mighty fine. Please come over and make me one!

I think brown cheese is made from condensed milk, that’s why it’s sweet. It’s definitely an acquired taste

You two are tough cookies ! 👍😘 Sailing in the rain for days.... I was freezing in my chair ! I used to be a very dedicated fisher on northern Québec lakes. Rain or shine, for hours. Early spring to late autumn. Summer rain was nice. Cold autumn, not so. I could'nt do it now as an old guy. *** PS You definitely must give us your late morning pita sandwich recipe. It looks delicious ! Yum ! ***
