A little tip I heard about was when boating , camping and storing food on long voyages don’t use card board boxes to store food in and take the labels of all your can goods, scrape any remaining glue and crap off the cans and write with a permanent marker on the top of the cans what they are. This will help keep your bug problems down. Especially with cockroaches. They love hiding in boxes and underneath the labels as babies. They eat the glue.

Dude, loved your humor. Also, you scare the bejesus out of me the way you waltz around the boat with no safety line so often.

Thanks Man. I'm fully aware that if I fall I die, so I don't fall. You could compare it to driving a car on a highway in a rainstorm or snowstorm. You steer into another car you die so it is best to avoid that and stay in control. :)

Totally agree. I’m sure the realization of being that vulnerable and alone will cause serious stress aside from the boredom but I’m glad this doesn’t seem heavily edited and really shows how it was.

@@TomYabo33 it's very hard to show the entirety of such an experience, especially the most challenging, exhausting, and emotional times when I was occupied with surviving or feeling and not filming. It's a fairly accurate picture but it was so much more in so many ways. Happy sailing!

My goodness, ROC! You've responded to every comment. Much respect. I respect your devotion to natural energy. I didn't know it was possible to pull a boat with a swimmer!@$# Fantastic. Your very authentic and like many others shared, don't conceal the rawness of where your at: weather, birds, sails, equipment that may or may not function well. I've been a DELOS fan for many years but you have the hutzpah to move us to the next level. Carbon Free. Bernie Sanders for President! Peace Brother, Doug from Tacoma, Washington

16:08 to answer the question, temperature has an effect on the speed of sound so daytime sound travels slower then at night because the day is hot and nights are cold. Edit: also Yokwe! Hope you enjoyed your stay. It ain't much but it's still HOME.
